«Chapter 1 • Jennie Intro»

Jennie woke up with the Dallas morning sun. She lives in Texas, United States. She lived on a small apartment, that she could barely afford with the money she earned. Jennie worked as a full time waitress.

She started working at 7:00, until 17:00. Jennie worked Monday to Saturdays. She always wanted to get the most money she could. On Sundays she would rest, or she would go out with her friends.

"Oh fuck, not again the alarm," Jennie said, "I want to be millionaire! I don't want to work anymore."

Jennie went to the bathroom and got ready for work. She went to her kitchen and did some cereal for breakfast. When she finished, she went to the bus stop. She was saving money to buy a car. But it took a lot of time.

When Jennie arrive at work she started her daily working routine.

"Jennie, go attend table number 10," said the manager of the restaurant named Lily. As Jennie went to table #10, she saw her best friends.

"Jennie!" Yuna yelled as she ran to hug her.

"Yuna! You're here!" Jennie yelled as she return the hug, "and you too Taehyung!"

"We thought to come visit you in work, to make you happy," Taehyung said as she went to hug her.

"Yes Tae, I'm happy that you two came, this would make my day better," Jennie said, "so, what are you going to order?"

"I would like a chocolate cake," Yuna said.

"This early?" Jennie said as Yuna nodded, "okay, and you Tae?"

"Just a strawberry lemonade, nothing else," Taehyung said.

"Okay, I'll comeback shortly," Jennie said as she went though the kitchen.

She always loved when her friends came to visit her at work. She was very introvert, she didn't have much friends. But Tae and Yuna where her best friends. She had known them for so many years.

"Here you go, and here you go," Jennie said as she put the food on the table.

"Thank you waitress Kim," said Yuna as Jennie smiled at her.

"Can you stay to talk a little?" Tae asked.

"I can, I just hope Lily don't see me," Jennie said.

"Do you have anything to do on Sunday?" Tae asked.

"This week I'm going to rest, next week I can go out," Jennie said.

"Oh well, I'll have a plan, don't worry," Yuna said.

"I hope you do, last time you said and you didn't have any. I had to do one," Tae said.

"That ain't true!" Yuna said.

"I don't know, I do remember what Tae said," Jennie said.

"You see Yuna Luna," Tae said.

"Jennie, get back to work!" Lily yelled from the kitchen.

"Oh well guys, I have to go, it was nice seeing y'all," Jennie said as she hugged Yuna and Tae.

"Bye Jen!" Tae and Yuna yelled as Jennie left.

Jennie was kinda sad that she had to leave her friends. But it was true, she had to work. She had to work to get paid.

When Jennie went out to give one order, her friends where already gone. As Jennie return to the kitchen she bumped on a guy. A guy way taller than her, brown big round eyes, black hair just on top of the ears, white skin, a little plump pink lips.

"Oh sorry," Jennie said.

"Don't worry, is okay," the guy said in a shy sexy voice. Jennie went running to the kitchen as she left the guy behind.

"Isn't that guy pretty?" Asked another waitress called Martha.

"Who?" Jennie asked.

"The one you bumped into," Martha said.

"Nah, I don't believe in love, that's useless," Jennie said.

"Whatever you say, but he's pretty," Martha said.

Jennie didn't believe in love. She thought it was annoying. That it made you weak. Jennie had once been in love, and she didn't like the feeling.
