Brooklyn sighed, pulling her t-shirt down as she stepped out of the truck, Henry following. David got out the other side, closing the door behind him.
She looked up, eyes narrowed as she tried to take in their new surroundings. "Alright." David began walking toward the stables, looking back at the two for a moment. He laughed, watching as they boy yawned, trying to keep up with the two. "Come on. What's with the yawn? This isn't school, it should be fun."
"I couldn't sleep." David held the boys shoulder, sighing to himself as he looked at his daughter. Brooklyn only nodded, walking a bit further from the two, letting them talk.
"Hey." David crouched to the boys height, his hand still resting on his shoulder. "I know. I miss them too." Giving his grandfather a small smile, Henry only stood there, watching the man begin to walk forward again. "Now. Just think, how happy Emma and Snow will be, when they come home to find that you've become a proper knight." They turned the corner, Brooklyn stood waiting for them. She was stood by one of the Horses, stroking its head gently. "Say hello to your steed."
Henry smiled, rushing forward to the horse in the second stall. "Is he mine?" David clicked his tongue, standing next to his daughter as he called the horse over.
"Oh, that's Brooklyns." Finally looking back at him, the girl was silent. She slowly made her way over to the horse, gently petting it. "This one's yours."
Henry looked at the horse, slight disappointment on his face as he walked over. "Really?"
"He's beautiful, isn't he?" She whispered, not even thinking first. She stared at the horse, not realising the smile that was creeping it's way to her face. David watched her, his heart warming at the sight of his daughter happy.
"So, how do I get on him?"
"Oh, your not riding today."
"I-I'm not?"
"No, there's much to learn before you hop on the saddle."
"Like what?" The big questioned, petting his own horse.
"Well, every morning you'll have to muck at their stalls." David started, the two looking up at him when he spoke. "Then you'll brush them and feed them. After school, you'll do it again. Everyday, twice a day."
"That's not riding. That's babysitting."
"Ah. Horse sitting." David corrected. "It builds an essential bond, the trust between knight and steed."
"Okay, but when will I ride him?"
"When the horse tells you." David gave the two a quick smile, sighing. "I'm gonna go check in on the dwarfs, see how the mining's coming. I'll pick you both up later." With that, he gave them one last look before heading off.
Brooklyn sighed, turning back to her horse, a find expression.
Henry looked back at his horse, tilting his head. "So, anything you wanna tell me?"

David walked through the hospital, finding the person he had been looking for rather quickly.
Regina was stood, looking through the glass windows to one of the private rooms, Doctor Whale was currently resides in. "What's going on?" Regina turned, seeing the man walk up to her. "I just got a call, that doctor whale was attacked."
"You'll have to ask his doctors."
"No. I am asking you."
Regina stared up at him, her face dropping at the accusation. "I came here to speak with him and discovered he was hurt." He tilted his head, clearly not believing her. "It's the truth."
