- Six Weeks Later -

Still half asleep, Brooklyn tiredly made her way down the staircase, her pyjamas still on as she had only just woke up.

"Surprise!" Brooklyn looked up, her body jumping her a little by the sudden shouting. Eyes narrowed, the girl gave her family a confused look, each, soon catching on to what they were doing.

"Oh, for fu-"

"Happy birthday!" Mary Margaret squealed, pulling her daughter into the living room. Emma, Henry and David all stood there, each wearing a party hat.

"What are you wearing?" She asked, glaring at the hats.

"Party hats." Emma spoke, smirking at the girls expression. "In this world, this is how we celebrate birthdays."

"Well, I don't like it."

"Oh, come on. Mom and Dad both stayed up all night decorating this place. The least you could do is smile." Brooklyn gave her sister an annoyed look, turning to her parents as she prepared to rant. When she saw the excited look her mother held, however, her mood shifted a little. Taking a small breath in, Brooklyn resisted the urge to tol her eyes, forcing a tight smile.

"There she is." David walked up, hugging his daughter as Mary Margaret threw a party hat on her head.

"Okay, time for presents."

She pulled the girl onto the couch, Brooklyn giving her a certain look. "I thought we agreed, only three."

"Yeah, well I went a little overboard." Mary Margaret admitted, her smile wider than ever. "And, besides, some are from Emma and some from Henry."

"You're only twenty once." David smiled, handing one of the presents to her. Brooklyn sighed, quickly unwrapping the gift. Throwing the paper next to her, she stared at the small box, confused. "Go on, open it." Doing at the man said, she carefully took the lid off, her eyes narrowed a little.

"A necklace?" Giving the two a baffled look, Brooklyn continued. "But, I already have one?"

"You can have more than one, sweetie." Her mother laughed, taking another present quickly as the girl thanked them. She recited a few new clothes, jewellery and makeup from her parents, thanking them once she was finished unwrapping them all. Henry had gotten her a new book, knowing how much progress she was making with Archie.

Soon enough, it was Emma's turn. With a slight mischievous smirk on her face, Emma handed the girl her present.

"Why are you smiling?"

"Just open it." Giving the blonde a curious look, Brooklyn slowly tore the wrapping paper, her eyes narrowed. Once she saw what it was, her face completely fell.

Henry couldn't help but laugh as she held the gift up, Brooklyn glaring at her sister. "Seriously?" She asked, staring between the blonde and the small, toy bow and arrow.

"Hey, thought you'd might like a new one." Brooklyn gave her a fake laugh, placing the present next to her. "I owe you a dollar, kid." Emma continued, smirking to her son, who had only just stopped laughing. She took the toy back, amused by the girls face. "It's actually for, Pinocchio. My present was with mom and dads."

Brooklyn nodded, turning back to her parents. "Are we done now?" David went to speak, but was cut off as a knock came from outside. He moved back to answer it, Brooklyn leaving against the couch as she took her hat off.

"No, I wanted some pictures." Mary Margaret spoke, already having grabbed her camera.

Pointing to her mother, Brooklyn spoke. "Okay, that is where I draw the line." She looked back over to her father as the door closed, Jackson walking toward them, his hand behind his back. As everyone greeted the man, Brooklyn, who was still sat in the couch, gave him a wide eyed look. "Help me." She mouthed, only amusing her boyfriend.
