"I'm glad I didn't end up dying after the war. Losing my mate was probably the worst thing I ever felt," Alpha said as he sat in a coffee shop with Copia. The Papa reached across the table and held his hand saying, "I'm glad you didn't either. I thought I would be alone forever."

Alpha smiled softly, "But you're not. I mean, come on. Terzo wasn't alone. Primo was just a creepy dude, and then Secundo was... Well, I'm not too sure what he did honestly."

"No one knew what Secundo did," Copia laughed, "I'm glad you were reassigned to me."

"I honestly thought you'd end up with Omega or Aether," Alpha said. Copia smiled softly, "I'll admit, they are nice, but I'm not going to compete with their mates. Omega has Water and Aether has Aeris. They're happy. That's what matters."

"And now you get to be happy," Alpha said. Copia's phone started to ring, making him excuse himself when he saw the caller ID.

"Lilith? What's wrong?" He said as he picked up the phone. Lilith sighed on the other side of the phone, "Swiss has been arrested and Mountain's missing. We need you down here."

"Why was he arrested?" Copia asked, his eyes wide as he looked at Alpha, who looked worried. Lilith told him, "From what the others told me, they said he fit a profile. But at the time everything had happened with the crime, Swiss was with them."

"So what do you think?" Copia asked, "I mean, from what you're telling me it couldn't have been Swiss."

"Everyone thinks Racial Profiling. Point is, we need you here so we can get him out. The others went to look for Mountain," Lilith said. Copia nodded, befire realizing that she couldn't see, "Right, yes. I'll be there by the end of the day."

"Thank you, C. I'll see you in a bit," Lilith said before hanging up. Copia sighed and said, "Sorry, I'm gonna have to cut out date short. The ghouls ran into some trouble on their vacation."

"What happened? Who got arrested?" Alpha asked. Copia told him, "Swiss got arrested, Mountain is missing, and it just seems like their vacation took a turn for the worse."

"I'll go with you. They might need extra help," Alpha said, "Plus, we can still have fun over there. After we find everyone that is."

Copia nodded, "Thank you."

Within a few hours, they were at the hotel that the ghouls were staying. Copia was talking to Lilith while Alpha talked to Aether, trying to figure out where the others might've gone.

"They haven't checked in in a while and its getting dark. Shadow and Lang are worried about their parents. Alpha, I think something might've happened to them," Aether said. Alpha sighed, "I'm sure they'll be fine. They can handle themselves."

"Yeah, maybe, but think about it. Mates can always feel the pull between each other. No matter the distance. I felt Aeris' pull go weak and then it just disappeared. Out of nowhere. I hadn't heard from them for at least an hour before it completely disappeared. Something is wrong," Aether insisted. Alpha then said, "Then we can look for them. I'm sure they're fine."

Lilith walked over and said, "They posted bail for Swiss. I'm gonna go get him out."

"How much is the bail?" Aether asked. Copia told them, "$50,000."

"For a robbery homicide?" Aether asked, "That seems low."

"It can be," Lilith said, "but they can't prove it was him. They found prints but since you guys don't exactly have fingerprints-"

"There's technically no connection to the crime," Alpha finished, "Plus, once they identify the prints, Swiss will be cleared of charges. They can only really get him for the robbery right now until they can actually prove him guilty."
