Phantom had the whole day planned out. He would take Aurora out on a date. They would go to a park and have a picnic. They would go for a swim in the lake. They would end the night at a fancy restaurant, then go home and spend the rest of the night watching movies in their room. He was determined to make sure it all would be perfect. He didn't want any of it to mess up.

But throughout the entire day everything constantly went wrong. At the park, ants ended up infesting the food, along with there being sports games going on basically everywhere in the park.

At the lake, it started raining.

When they got to the restaurant, it turned out Phantom had made the reservation for the day before, so they had missed it. And the restaurant had no openings for the same day.

The entire day he had planned was all ruined and he just felt like shit. He was quiet the entire drive home, feeling bad that he basically drug Aurora around for nothing. He couldn't tell if she was upset. Every time he glanced at her, she would be on her phone texting.

Yep. I ruined it all now. She hates me, he thought, She can't even look at me.

He leaned an arm on the window sill, keeping one hand on the steering wheel as he leaned his head onto his other hand. He pulled the car until the garage at the ministry, Aurora getting out of the car quickly. Phantom let out a defeated sigh, turning off the car and getting out, following her inside, hanging the keys on the hook before shoving his hands into his pockets, following behind her. His eyes were downcast, looking at his feet as he walked, wondering how the day could've gone all wrong.

Aurora looked back at him and sighed, "Phantom."

He looked up at her and she could just see the disappointment in his face she walked over to him and asked, "Did you hear a word of what I just said?"

"Huh?" He asked. He had been so lost in his thoughts he didn't even realize she was talking. She simply took his arm and brought him into the secret room that they had hidden in for weeks. There was a table set up with oreos, chips, crackers, all of his favorite snacks. She told him, "I figured you may have over thought the day. I took a look at the forecast yesterday and I knew it was gonna rain. So, I made sure I had a back up plan since I knew you would've been too busy planning out the day to think that there may be a few set backs."

"A few set backs is a kind way of saying a ruined day," Phantom said, "I just wanted everything to be perfect."

"Phantom, I got to spend the whole day with you. I don't care that we had ants all up in our food at the park and we had to throw it away. Or how we were rained on instead of being able to swim at the lake. Hell, I don't even care that we couldn't get into the restaurant. I don't keep expensive things. I don't need a planned out day. I just want you. Now, are we gonna have our movie night or not because I made sure that no matter what, we can still have that," Aurora said. He let out a small breath as he leaned his forehead against hers, holding her waist as he said, "Fuck, you're so perfect. And I'm a mess."

"Mess or not, you're mine. I'm not letting you go anywhere anytime soon. Forget about what happened today. I appreciate the thought you put into it, and had it gone the way you wanted it to, it would have been amazing. But like I said, all I want is you. How I get to be with you doesn't matter. I just want you," Aurora said, "Mess and all."

Phantom chuckled, pecking her lips, "What movies did you pick out, because I know that you chose all of them."

"Oh, I think you are gonna hate them all," She joked, pulling Phantom onto the bed and switching on the TV, the first movie beginning. Phantom groaned as he leaned his head back onto the pillows, "How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days? Really? Even the title is stupid."
