Seven Years Later
"Sodo, I swear to Satan if you don't start to remember where you put Aquara's brush, I will beat your ass," Ember called as she rushed to get her daughter's hair done. Aquara was now seven years old, Fenix now nine. She also had twins, the birth being traumatizing for her, ending up with her almost dying once again. She told Sodo she was done with kids. The twins were one boy and one girl, the girl being named Nova, the boy Diablos. They were 5 years old now. Sodo had been busy with trying to get his two son's ready that he had misplaced the brush Ember would use to get the girls ready. And his wife was not happy.
During the years, Ifrit and Lilith had a kid as well. A fire ghoulette which they had named Eliane. She was almost born the same day as Sodo and Ember's twins. Due to Lilith being a human, having to birth a ghoul took a toll on her body. She was bedridden for weeks after having her daughter. Ifrit had to make the executive decision to no longer have kids, just for the safety of his mate.
Aeris and Aether adopted kits as well. Clipse, a Quintessence ghoulette, who they had adopted at the age of 9 not long after Sodo and Ember's wedding. She was now 16. They also had Cerulle, an air ghoul who was 9 years old, and Talis, a multi ghoul who was 8. Aether thought he was getting too old to be having more kids, which led to him getting smacked by his mate, getting told that he doesn't even age. But they ended up agreeing on not having more kits.
Cumulus and Cirrus ended up adopting as well. An earth ghoul named Turbius. He was now 17 years old. They were happy with having just the one, so they never adopted any more.
Even Aurora and Phantom had kits. Two multi ghouls, much to Phantom's surprise. He was sure his quintessence power would've been passed on to at least one of his kids. They had Aevus, who was 7 years old. Phantom really had his hands full with his son. Especially since he loved to hang out with Shadow. They also had Genis, the daughter that Phantom would do almost anything for. The little ghoulette had her father wrapped around her finger. She was 4 years old.
Shadow was now 14 years old, learning with Aether how to play guitar, while Lang was now 15 years old. Mountain tried to teach her how to play drums, but she was always drawn to Phantom, who ended up teaching her guitar. Her crush had gone down significantly, but Phantom would tease her about it a lot. Of course, she would use it to her advantage at times. She would go up to him, telling him he's her favorite, just so she could get what she wanted when her dad's said no. Of course, Phantom got in trouble a lot with Swiss and Mountain for doing it all, but he did care a lot for the earth ghoulette. When she was younger, he felt a sense of responsibility for her. Especially since she would always want to be around him.
Sodo fixed Fenix's hair before looking around, "Fuck, umm."
His eyes landed on his daughter's brush, making him point at it and say, "It's on the counter."
Ember quickly went over and grabbed it, finishing with Aquara's hair, letting out a breath, "Alright, the girls are done. You alright if I go get ready?"
"Yeah, go, I'll be fine," Sodo told her. Tonight was the last show that there would be with the Ghost project. Their word had been spread and their lord thought they had done a well enough job that the project was no longer needed. He was allowing all the ghouls to stay up on earth, just in the case that they would be needed again.
Ember went into their room, taking a quick shower before getting dressed in a tank top and jeans. She returned to the kids, allowing Sodo to go get ready. They soon headed out to the bus they were taking to the venue, the others following soon after. Once they were there, they left the kits with Lang, Shadow, Turbius and Clipse. Since those four were the oldest, they thought they would be able to handle watching the younger ones for the duration of the show. Of course, they were promised money as well.
