I looked on my computer, hoping for there to be internet. No luck. Aaron knocks on the door, "Hey, how are you doing today?." He asks with a delightful smile.

"Not good, I'm trying to find a way out of here and to explore the outside for any living people." "WHAT" Aaron said, louder than ever. "Shhhhh, I don't want the parents to know anything. I'll fill you in on the plan." I explain my entire plan to him and at first he disagrees with me, but then he finally agrees.

It comes to the night I try to escape. I really needed too, I just didn't know when. I looked at my clock, 11:38 AM, too early. I waited and waited. I needed to leave soon, so I played board games for 6 hours. They were starting to become boring.  I looked at my clock, 5:22,  Maybe I should just go take a nap.. I thought to myself.

"Okay everyone. I'm gonna hit the hay." I said with a delightful smile on my face. "Okay" everyone had said at the same time. By the time I was leaving my family was all staring at each other, Shocked they all said that at the same time. I go and take a nap hoping I would wake up after everyone goes to sleep. Soon after I had woken up, I checked my clock, 1:18 AM  Perfect!

I run and grab my gas mask. I ran to the tiny hole I found in the barricades, that I could fit through. I crawl through there and I see 2 people, A girl and..A ZOMBIE? I run past them and the girl shouts

"Hey! Please don't leave. I need somewhere to stay with my brother." HUH? That zombie is her brother? Or is he not here yet?

"Umm..I can't let you stay with us." I say as politely as I can. "Us?" The girl askes. "Yes, us. My family." "Perfect you guys can't hold me and my brother?" I gasp, almost choking on my saliva.

"T-That's your brother?" I swallow my breath, trying to hold in a scream. The girl finally responds with a frown on her face

"Sadly yes, My brother got bit. So did my mother and father. We have no family to go to anymore-" She sniffles and holds back her tears. "My father was a scientist working with a man named Joshua Harolds. They were working on a cure for the zombie infection but they made a mistake and my father died."
