"i'm sorry sir, you cannot enter!" a security guard called out as minho tried entering the office building. "sir. this is private property. you are not allowed to continue past the receptionist if you do not work here."
however, before minho could reply, an excited yell echoed through the ground floor. "MIN!!!! YOU'RE HERE!" han jisung, the son and the upcoming ceo of the han corporation, ran towards the older, leaping into his arms. the other carefully caught him with one (strong ass) arm, while making sure he holds on tight to the bundle of meal boxes on the other hand.
"hey there baby~" minho chuckled, kissing the younger's lips. "i've brought lunch for us and dad!" yes. 'dad'. lee minho is the husband of jisung. he's a part-time choreographer, dancer, dance teacher at an academy, and also, a very loving house husband.
"yay min's home-cooked meals!" jisung cheered, absolutely loving whatever minho had whipped up already. ever since they'd met as dorm mates, the younger had fallen in love with the elder's cooking. on the other hand, minho had always loved how jisung reacted to all of his dishes and pastries.
"let's go up to my office!" jisung carefully slide down from the elder's hold, taking his hand and leading him to the elevator. throughout all this, the security kept quiet after realising who he tried stopping.
"newbie, that was the han's family husband and son-in-law. please remember his face and let him pass whenever he's here." the security guard's manager whispered to him. "you're lucky he didn't say anything to mr han."
"did that security stop you just now?" jisung asked minho as they entered the elevator. "yeah, but i haven't seen him before. is he new?" the elder asked, earning a nod from his husband. "ah makes sense. you should give me a special lanyard or a card." he suggested, grinning when jisung nodded, "yeah i should."
of course, they had to kiss once more before stepping out of the elevator. because once they do, they'll be met with jisung's father and it's honestly weird to kiss in front of parents. "hello dad!" minho greeted as soon as he entered the shared office floor. "oh minho-ah! you're here!" mr han greeted with a wide smile that was similar to jisung's.
"i've brought lunch! shall we eat?" minho smiled while waving the bundle of meal boxes.
"your bundle habits are really cute, you know?" mr han chuckled. his son-in-law's habits were really bringing him back to his childhood days but even now, he still doesn't know how to tie a bundle properly. seeing minho doing it perfectly well made him want to learn how to too. well, it's a fun way to store or carry stuff especially if you don't have a bag for it. "can you teach me someday?" mr han's eyes sparkled.
"of course!" minho chirped. he was excited to share the knowledge that his mother had passed down to him.
"did you know when we were still studying in university, my friends kept calling hyung 'bundle boy'?" jisung teased, telling his father about the nickname minho got for his cute habit. earning an embarrassed whine from his husband.
"let's just eat please!" he begged with his ears completely red from embarrassment. earning a series of laughter from both hans.
"god this is perfectly delicious!" jisung moaned as he dug into the meal, mentaiko chicken with rice and a side of a soft-boiled egg. "hmm i love this so much son!" mr han complimented as well, making minho grin in joy. "thank you~ i'm glad y'all like my cooking" he giggled shyly.
"like?? i love it babe!" jisung corrected, grinning like a fool with his cheeks stuffed with food. "you're really like a squirrel~" minho teased, pecking his husband's full cheeks. "eat well darling~ i made sure to pack more for you!" he chirped.
it was no secret that jisung eats more when it's minho's cooking. even mr han didn't mind the biasness. in fact, he was glad that his son was eating well, and his son-in-law was feeding themselves well too. he was worried that he would be married to someone who was a jerk, like how he regrettably was to his now ex-wife.
mr han smiled at the loving sight before him. he held back a sigh as he thought of him and his ex-wife. but knowing he wasn't the best for her, he was glad that she found someone else who treats her better. sure he did apologise, and sure they're on better terms now, but it doesn't change anything. since then, he made sure to focus his love on his only son, and now, his other son.
"i love you min, and i love you too, dad!" jisung randomly said, earning a surprised gasp from his father and a cute giggle from his husband.
"i love you too jisung-ah" mr han grinned.
"i love you too my baby~" minho pecked jisung's lips before going back to his food, grinning.
