masterpiece in the museum 💗

"this is so boring!" minho groaned as he let himself be dragged around my hyunjin who was admiring every piece of art shown. the two had been walking around for one and a half hours already. mainly due to the younger of the two needing to read every description and artist's thoughts behind their works.

although minho wasn't the best museum buddy, hyunjin wanted him to come since he 1) didn't want to go alone, and 2) needed someone to help him take pictures. the grumpy elder was the only one who was free and can take good pictures.

even if minho was groaning and grumbling throughout the walk, he honestly enjoyed looking at the artwork. some capturing his eyes to the point he wanted to learn about them. running his analysis with hyunjin, and then having a long discussion on it.

but as the younger dragged him to another corner of the museum, a relatively pretty human sculpture captured his eyes. no the human sculpture wasn't one of the art pieces. instead, he was a customer sipping a drink in the museum's refreshments corner, wearing headphones, and typing away on his ipad.

as hyunjin had linked arms with the elder in order to not get separated in the crowd, minho just watched the pretty stranger from afar. noticing how he'll look around at the people and the art before typing away. or how he bobs his head to the music, occasionally looking up like he was thinking, and how he gasps in excitement before typing away when probably an idea came in. or how he'll scrunch his nose and furrow his brows when he reads what he probably typed.

all these in the ten minutes that hyunjin had stared at and analysed a certain art piece. however, minho had too busy staring at the pretty stranger to even hear the younger calling for him.

"yah!" hyunjin snapped his fingers in front of minho's eyes. snapping him out of his trance. "what are you staring at?" he asked looking around.

"a masterpiece..." minho grinned pointing at the pretty stranger. "you're fucking cringey." the younger judge, before dragging him towards the pretty stranger.

"what the fuck are you doing hyunjin!" minho panicked, trying to pull away from the younger. but his footing was imbalanced so he couldn't do so without falling and making a fool of himself.

"hey!" hyunjin grinned at the pretty stranger, who looked surprised and happy to see him.

"omg hyunjin?" the pretty stranger hung his headphones around his neck before standing up and reaching over to hug the tall ferret.

"it's been so long jisungie!" hyunjin giggled, hugging back. now minho's confused. how does his friend know who the pretty stranger was? and why hasn't he seen him before?

"minho hyung, this is jisung, my high school tablemate! and jisung this is minho hyung my dorm mate and dance crew mate too!" hyunjin introduced the two.

"h-hi! n-nice to meet you!" the eldest shyly greeted, jisung following suit. the two were not only introverts but are also socially awkward.

"can we sit?" hyunjin asked, earning a nod from the younger.

soon another hour passed by as hyunjin and jisung caught up with each other, while minho learned more about the pretty male. one of the things was how squirrelly jisung looked and another was that he was here for lyrical inspiration. from the conversations, minho also learned that the younger is a music producer.

and honestly, minho was hella impressed. to the point that he managed to get the squirrelly male's number at the end of the day.

and that was the start of a beautiful relationship. their hobby? definitely annoying hyunjin and baking with hyunjin's boyfriend, felix, who's also part of the dance crew.
