??? Pov

When she first woke up, it was all a blinding light. She don't know how she got here. She don't know what happened. But she knew she don't belong there. Her eyes slowly adjust to the light to find my self in a room which looks like a hospital. Did someone bring her there?
She looked up and yelped in suprise to find two boys standing over her. One had raven hair with deep chocolate eyes while the other had dusty blonde hair and ice blur eyes. She felt a twinge of nostalgia. She knew she had never met these boys. Then why did they feel so familiar?

Will's Pov

Will let out a mental sigh of relief when the girl opened her eyes. He was so worried when Nico rushed into the infirmary carrying this girl who he claims, just appeared out of thin air. She doesn't have any bad physical injuries but she still didn't wake up until just then. He looked at her and smile.

"Hi, I'm Will and this is Nico. He found you unconscious and brought you to me so you could be treated. How are you feeling?"

"Confused," she murmured.

He sat down on the edge of the bed and tried to look friendly. She shuffled away, looking uncomfortable.

"What's your name?" Will asked.

"Maree..." she answers, fixing her eyes on him.

Will swore, he could get lost in them. And no, it's not because this girl was cute or anything. It's the colour of them and the fire in them. They're a kaleidoscope of colours and the fire in them is a strong flame, full of determination. He would've drowned if Nico hadn't snap him back to reality.

"Do you know of the Greek Gods?"

She breaks eye contact with me and turns her gaze to Nico. "I read."

"Well those gods are real and they shape the world we live in today and you are one of their kids."

"Nico!" Will snapped. Nico knows it's hard for kids to adjust but will really thought he would take it easy. Apparently not.

Maree's reaction surprised Will more. Her lips go into a tight line and she says, "I don't believe you. "

At that moment, Will didn't know who was more intimidating. They're about the same size and they both looked fourteen. They both had the same tight expression on their faces as if everything was a competition. The only difference is probably that Nico looked more the part, with his tan skin a sickly pale  colour, his dark raven hair flowing down his neck and his brown eyes intense. But Maree had a different intimidation. She had brown hair and multicoloured eyes but it was the way she held them that made her intimidating. Thankfully Jason decided to enter into the room, cutting off the tension.

"Hello, you must be the girl Nico found. Chiron would like to speak with you once you're better to uh- explain the situation. "

Maree looked at him. "Sure, but I want to know where am I."

"A safe place for demigods," Will replied. "Camp Half-blood. You'll probably find put your godly parent tonight. "

Nico straightens up and walks out the door. Will knew his work is done. He knew they weren't friends and he has nothing to do here. So why does it hurt a bit?

Nico's Pov

The new girl is trouble. There's something strange about her which doesn't feel right. Oh well, she's in the capable hands of Will. Everything should be fine. But her arrival was strange.

~Flashback~

Nico was standing at Thalia's tree, debating if he should stay at camp or leave. The war with Gaia was over, Leo had returned in full health bringing a girl with him. This camp didn't need him anymore.

Well there was one problem. Will Solace. That blonde idiot tried so hard to be social with Nico sometimes it was confusing. The guy was nice and all but maybe too much. And yet he took up so much headspace.

Nico sighed and looked down the hill. If he was going to leave, it'd be now. That's when the wind picked up.

It was only a gentle breeze before but now it was a raging torrent. Nico had to fight to stay standing. As abruptly as it started it faded away again. The gods must be toying with him. He looked down at the hill again and saw something that wasn't there a minute ago. On the ground, a girl about his age was lying. She was unconscious and seemed to be in the need of medical treatment. The gods weren't toying with him. The Fates were.

~Flashback~

Nico really didn't want to deal with that girl. She can be someone else's problem. And yet something weird seem to draw him to her. No, he was not attracted to her. He's gay. But it was something different. Not exactly like fate but something close.

Nico sighed and walked over to the dining parlour where Annabeth and Percy were sitting. After the war, he had become close friends with the seven.

"Hey guys," Nico said, sitting down at their table.

"How's it going?" Annabeth asked.

"Being a demi-god sucks," replied Nico.

"You found a new kid, right?" stated Percy.

"Yep. Girl, my age. I'm surprised she lasted that long. The condition she was in looked pretty bad so she must have a strong parent."

"Why are you all worried about her?" asked Annabeth.

"Go meet her. You'll see what happens," answered Nico.

"Oh, so she's your type," said Percy. Nico just stared at him.

"Kidding. Geez."

"Those will be the last words you ever say."

"Calm down you two," interrupted Annabeth. "Did you get any information out of her?"

"Only name, Maree."

"Hmm... Maybe-" Annabeth's words were cut off when Piper came running over to the trio.

"Quick! It's Jason!"
