Maree's Pov
Whaaatttt. Her brain felt like it was short circuiting. The stories she read were real? After Will and Jason explained the situation to her, she simply nodded along, lost in a daze. This was a lot to process.
Will finished writing on his clipboard and looked up at her and smiled. "You're all good to go."
"Thanks," she said as she extracted herself from the bed and followed Jason out the door.
Wow. This camp looked awesome. Maybe being a demi-god wouldn't be too bad. That was until Jason decided to struck a conversation with her.
"So, where are you from?"
"I- I don't remember, really... I think South East but I'm not too sure."
"Ok. Have you ever seen weird things in your life?"
"Yeah. Does a skeleton horse count?"
"I hope you mean dead horse. Do you have any idea of your godly parent?"
That's what made Maree pause and think. She had a feeling... maybe Apollo but... she was also smart like Athena...
"No idea, who's yours?"
"Jupiter. I'm a Roman demi-god."
Maree just nodded along with that. "Nice."
"Uh oh. Come on we have to go." Jason grabbed her arm and started pulling her to a big house. Her vision tunnelled. What was going on?
Nico's Pov
He immediately ran over to the Big House where a groaning Jason was. Maree wasn't too far away, on the ground unconscious, again. Campers formed a circle around them and started whispering by the time Nico reached Jason.
"Did you see that..."
"Biggest strike I've ever seen..."
"He should survive, right..."
Nico blocked out their voices and turned his attention to his friend. Jason's eyes slowly fluttered open and he sat up, his clothes smoking and burnt.
"Jason, what happened?" Nico asked.
"I... I just touched her and next thing I know, a massive lighting strike hit me in the chest," Jason answered, still groggy.
Nico stood up and walked over to the unconscious girl. Annabeth was already there. Will had not arrived yet.
"So strange..." murmured Annabeth, analysing the girls features. "Could she be a daughter of Zeus?"
Piper had helped Jason up and together they hobbled over to the group with Percy by their side.
"Another big three?" whispered Percy, his eyes wide. "Did Zeus break the pact again?"
"I don't know," replied Nico, his eyes never leaving the girl.
Chiron chose that moment to come galloping over. "Break it up everyone. Nothing out of the ordinary. Harely, please go grab Will." The campers wandered off leaving only Chiron, Nico, Jason, Annabeth, Percy and Pipet around the girl.
Chiron looked down at them. "Is that the girl Nico found?"
"Yes," Jason replied. "I just touched her and then was hit by a lightning bolt."
Nico put his hand to her forehead. He wasn't hit by a bolt. He smirked. But his smile faded when a light appeared and he saw the sign above her head. Multiple signs...
"Holy Hera..." whispered Piper.
Above the sleeping girl's head was the symbols of Zeus, Posiedon, Hades, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Aphrodite, Hestia, Hera, Demeter, Hephatus, Ares and Nike...
