3 Months Later

Snow covered the quiet town. Christmas decorations were everywhere, filling it with light yet there wasn't a soul in sight.

The girl step out of her hiding place and walked into a clearing where flakes of snow drifted from the cloudy sky. Evening light lit up the park, with lamp posts shining brightly with orange flames. It was beautiful.

Letting the nature take hold of her, the girl let her wings snapped free. Being a beautiful mix of black and white, she let them stretch and feel the cold winter air on them.

It was in these moments she felt free from her life, free from all pain and worry. But eventually she was snapped back to reality.

Lying under a tree, five feet away from her was a boy. He looked around the age of seventeen, about two years older then her. He had dark curler hair and his face was full of acne.

Feeling a sense of familiarity from the boy, the girl cautiously approached him and study him. He looked sad and lost even if he was sleeping. Making up her mind, she slowly sank to her knees, kneeling next to him and waited for him to wake up.
