Not just the future (Jim Crocodile Cook x reader)

Jim's P.O.V
We arrived the village but it was under attack. We stopped and I hopped off.

"Hey mate." I greeted.

"What's this? You want some too?" The knight said.

"Hang on." I was confused.

"Now feel the wrath of my mighty sword." The knight said.

"He wants to help. Put down your sword." The elder said but it was too late. The knight knocked me out cold.

'Cricky, I must of been knocked out. I'm back at Duel academy.' I thought to myself while I was walking.

"Did you bring the food?" I heard a voice.

"Enough to feed a T-rex." Another said.

"Uh guys I don't think feeding someone's crocodile with out them knowing is a bad idea." I female says. I waljed around and saw Hassleberry, Jaden, Syrus and...Y/n!

'I'm on memory lane. This is my first day at the academy.' I thought. I then said, "Howdy blocks and lady." They turned around and saw me.

"What are you with my croc?" I asked. Syrus backed off, Hassleberry and Jaden looked confused and Y/n looked at me nervous.

"Uh we were just, you know..." Hassleberry says.

"Like gonna feeder. We thought you might want to have a snack." Jaden said.

"I told them not too...but they didn't listen." Y/n said.

"Is that right. Well, Shirley doesn't take too kindly to strangers you hear." I explained. "Come here girl." Shirley walked over to me. Syrus backed off. Y/n looked curious.

"But she seems so nice with you and Y/n." Jaden said.

"That's right. Why? It's 'cause I'm her best mate." I said. "I spent years working to earn her trust."

"I'm sorry Jim. I just thought that maybe Shirley would trust me as a friend as well." Jaden said. I glanced back to see Y/n interacting with Shirley. I was confused.

"You know cuz you and I are mates." Jaden said.

"I guess the only way to find out is to let Shirley decide, Jim." Y/n said. She walked over to Jaden and grabbed a peice of meat.

"Come her girl." Y/n said, holding out a peice of meat. Shirley walked over to her. Y/n opened the peice of meat and held it out. "Mmm. Sure smells good doesn't it?" Y/n asked Shirley. I watched carefully. Shirley opened her mouth and chomped her hand. They others started to panic. But Shirley pulled away with harming Y/n. I was surprised.

"See still have my hand, five fingers as a bonus." She said with a smile.

"Good girl. You want some more? How about these with cream filling?" Y/n said and kept feeding Shirley. I watched closely. "Look at those molars, Y/n. They look healthy!" Jaden said with a smile.

'I remember now. I couldn't believe how fast Shirley took to Jaden and Y/n. It's almost like they had a special connection but everyone feels that way about these two. They're everyone's friend.

"I think Shirley likes both of us, Jaden." Y/n said.

"She sure likes to eat." Jaden said. I smiled.

I soon woke up from that dream. I opened my eyes. "Y/n? Jaden?" I mumbled. Shirley grumbled.

"Your awake." A voice said. I sat up and looked at a woman playing an instrument. I was confused. "My name is Claret. You should know that your friend never left your side this entire time." She said.
