6 months later,

Jisoo was heading to Ji-eun's home to visit her long-missed unnie and baby Soobin. She pressed the bell and Ji eun responded a second after. Just as she yanked the door aside, Jisoo squealed and jumped on her. "Unnieeee!!" Ji eun chuckled, "How have you been? I didn't get to see you for so long."

"I had a long list of schedules that tired out the bit of me. That's why, I couldn't visit. By the way, how is Soobin?" Jisoo moaned, heaving a wearied huff.

"He is as usual enjoying life, taking a nap. Sit now. I will make you tea."

Jisoo plopped down on the comforting sofa and leaned her nape on the back. Ji eun emerged moments later, carrying a cup of smoking tea and chocolate cake. She placed them on the tea table, close to Jisoo and rested beside her. The thought of hot choclate within a mixture of egg already had knotted her stomach. Now, the smoke curling towards her ignited the bubbles forming inside. Ji eun dumbfoundedly stared at her, anticipating a movement to taste the food. Jisoo nervously smiled not to dishearten Ji eun and reached for the plate when her stomach had another jolt. She sprinted to the restroom and crouched her head over the toilet, dousing out all the meals of earlier. Ji eun hurried behind just at the second and neared to her. "Jisoo, Jisoo, oh my!" She panicked, gathering Jisoo's hair behind as she hurled out the contents.

Her puking resumed for the next five minutes with Ji eun rubbing her back. At last, she uncoiled and leaned on the wall as exhaustion disperged her limbs from the continuous vomit. Ji eun handed her a flock of tissue. She wiped her lips and moaned. Entire 5 minutes of vomit had drained her energy to move slightly. Ji eun enquired, "Are you alright now?"

Jisoo wearily tilted her head. Later, cleaning up, both the ladies walked away to the living room. Jisoo almost laid on her back while Ji eun's mind articulated around one thing. "Jisoo, have you missed your period?"

"Well, it's 5 days late."

Things went more clarified for Ji eun now. "I think you should have a pregnancy test." she suggested. Jisoo stared at her, dumbfounded. She didn't consider such possibility despite having an upset stomach a number of days. "But, unnie, it can be due to stress." Her voice diminished for the ice crawling up her spine. She did wish for children, but now the confusion tightened her throat.

"If it's another thing, then you should get yourself checked up by a doctor. But, the symptoms you are showing, I think you should have one, right now."

Jisoo angled her lips to mumble some words but they came unvoiced. Ji eun dashed to her room, leaving the unnerved woman squirming.

5 minutes later.

The two women impatiently anticipated the results. Jisoo mumbled prayers, crossing her fingers for the truth. Her panic grew since the word 'pregnancy' popped up. Not that she would be pissed if she was really pregnant, still nervousness formed in her mind. Her prayer resumed when Ji eun shook her and chirped, "Ji-chu, look, the results have come." Jisoo instantly lifted her eyelids and drifted to the tests laid in front, wasting no moment. One stick showed a crimson plus sign, one was marked with two blue lines and one bore the word 'pregnant.'

Jisoo glanced at Ji eun, stunned by the results. She could express no joy or dismay. The shock of the news had struck her like this. Her stoned figure flinched when Ji eun squeezed her sides. "Congratulations!!!" Jisoo finally reacted to the situation by chuckling on Ji eun's shoulder.

She, Kim Jisoo, was carrying the symbol of her and Namjoon's love in her womb. The tiny life would sprout into a bundle of joy within months and alight their life. Strengthen the link of their love.

"I need to inform Namjoon right now." Jisoo panted, half incited, half strained.

"No, do it at night, after dinner when he's resting. Today is his birthday, right? Give him the test as a gift." Ji eun's face glowed in bliss. "You'll know his reaction!"
