Since conveying the last lunchbox, Namjoon didn't deny anymore. Hence, Jisoo offered him assorted dishes and he treasured them all, not a single crumb leaving. Minutes before lunchtime, he would have a box rested on his table sufficed with delicious fare. Bang seok ridiculed it by addressing Jisoo as his 'Lunchbox wife' along Jungkook, never quitting an option to vex his brother. Only did he act was huff, unbothered by their teasing.
Today, Jisoo entered his office instead of a staff who usually escorted the meal. Remarking it as a chamber would be vile, the majestic its structure was. A round table presided amid, in its heart an armchair positioned. Enormous shelves displayed numerous awards and honours, their shimmer so shrill to pierce through eyes beyond the barrier of glass. An uneven blend of black and white marble tiled on the glassy ground. Gigantic bookshelves towered above, beneath lay an organized set of sofas, poshness fuming from.
Jisoo's intrigued sight wandered near the bulk shelves, mostly books stood, many sorts. Ceramic pieces, tiny photo frames, and cards wishing happy days exhibited before. Consecutively all gained her engagement to some extent till the objects in the forelast shelf approached. Backed on a photo frame of Namjoon and Jungkook, a teddy modelled. Teeny in size, barely able to stretch above her palms. Besides was perched more minuscule things composed of sewn fabrics. Some varied kira dolls, stars, moon, sun, vibrant tinted flowers, and handmade diaries. But the teddy bear dragged the spotlight with its simplicity and delicacy.
Jisoo craned her neck for a greater percept of the articles yet footsteps disrupted the inspection. Namjoon arrived at the gateway and his questioning eyes pointed towards her. Jisoo hurried a bow, getting puzzled with the box in her clasp. "Annyeonghaseo, Namjoon-ssi."
His brows bent with his curved mouth. "Annyeong, you should have told me you were coming."
"I just came here to give the box. Your staff was absent today."
"Ohh. Come, sit." Namjoon beckoned towards the sofas.
"No, no, it's alright. Ji eun unnie has called me. I'll come again." Jisoo laid the dazed box and hurried off before he could ask more.
"Let's see what I have got-" A phone call paralleled with Namjoon's attempt to unravel the lid. His eyeballs rolled in vexation.
On the phone:
Namjoon: Hello?
Taemin: Mr. Kim, I would like your attendance to be witness of your extraordinary sibling Jungkook's state.
Namjoon: What happened?!
Taemin: Come and see.
Taemin's pointed tone ensured Jungkook managed to summon another trouble. In abandoning the smoking meal, Namjoon was uninclined. Yet, he had to go.
He hurried to Taemin's office where a mass swarmed in. He slid through the crushing crowd and faced Taemin. "Samchon, what happened?"
Taemin heaved a worried sigh as his forehead parched. "Look at jungkook." His hand implied towards his private chamber.
Namjoon inserted through the door to witness Jungkook shrieking on the grand bed with his left foot bandaged. Beside was perched Bang seok. "Jungkook!" His hurtled steps reached near the injured. "What happened?!"
"Nothing just-" Jungkook replied with a sneer but Bang seok brushed off. "He broke his ankle again."
"How?"
"I was just practising some movements when a pose twisted my ankle badly. It's nothing."
"How is it nothing?!"
