Two and a half weeks had flown since the transplant. Jisoo had gradually recuperated with her newly adjusted kidney. Today, she finally had been permitted for discharge. The doctor conducted final checkups and ensured currently fine condition of her. Fetching all the required medicines and learning all the instructions from her physician, Jisoo set her path to her warm home after weeks of staying ridden in the patient's bed. She knocked on the gate. No response came. She glimpsed at her mother in query, in case nobody was home. Her brother, sister-in-law and father had appeared the day after Jisoo's surgery and supposedly stayed here. Where were they? She banged again when a loud exclamation exploded her eardrums. Her whole family had blasted out of the entrance with balloons, whistles and party crackers, greeting her cordially. "WELCOME BACK, OUR DEAR JICHU."

Jisoo jerked by the surprising welcome and cackled out with the greeters who advanced to hug her. Splendid moments were shared between the overwhelmed members of the little family till night, upon the girl's recovery. She got the luck to taste her favourite chocolate cake, cookies, chicken and many more tempting dishes.

At midnight, she lastly entered her bedroom to see Mrs. Kim sitting on the bed before the kindled lamp. She seemed to be immersed in a deep thought, unconsciously poking her inner cheeks. Jisoo wandered to her and propped beside. "Eomma, what happened? You look worried."

"Jisoo," Mrs. Kim tilted to her daughter's side. "I have something to tell you." she sighed.

"Yes?" Jisoo nodded her head.

"You asked me in the hospital who was the donator, right?"

Jisoo shifted her brows at her mention. "Hmm."

"Namjoon, Kim Namjoon was the donator."

Jisoo's pupils dilated, upon hearing the fact. Kim Namjoon, the man who bore no liking or even favour towards her donated his vital organ for her. She was startled. Her bitter impression of him morphed into respect and gratefulness she never felt for anybody.

She presented to the studio 2 days after. The whole crew warmly embraced her and questioned her health. Ji eun squealed while Yoongi and Baekhyun showed off bright smiles. Jisoo gladly responded to their queries but her genuine lookout was in scouring for that man. She shook her nape around to locate him but in vain. When the surrounding crowd dissolved, Jisoo tipped her face to Yoongi. "Yoongi sunbae nim, where is Namjoon sunbae nim?"

"Oh, he is right the-" he glimpsed over the corner of the set, furrowing his brows. "He was right there. Where is he now?"

Jisoo moaned, curving her head. Where are you Kim Namjoon? I want to talk to you. The words resounded in her head.

"He may be in his room. Wait, I'll call him."

"No, no, I'll meet him later." Jisoo beckoned. "He might be busy." her lips pursed in dejection.

Jisoo assisted Yoongi to the discussion room. There, entering the gate, the first thing she caught was Namjoon, browsing on his phone. Upon hearing footsteps he tilted his face to gain a glance of her and instantly his insides froze. Jisoo bowed to him and attained her seat beside Ji eun who started raging about the occurrences that surfaced during her absence. Baekhyun emerged minutes later and began his lecture about the renewed script upon Jisoo's return. Though she ought to have, Jisoo spared her focus more on the man, sitting on the opposite side. Her intention of having a conversation with him keenly strangled more around her mind. After about 45 minutes,  Baekhyun distributed the duplicates of the scripts to the cast and instructed them to be present on time beyond their makeup session. Namjoon was the foremost one to immediately storm out of the room. Jisoo's eyes tailed his departing frame. Her nostrils stiffened while letting out a deep exhale. I will certainly talk to you, Kim Namjoon.

The entirety of the day passed with crammed takes of pending scenes which mostly consisted of Jisoo's parts. Her scenes at the dorm would be captured which excluded Namjoon. Hence, her opportunity to meet him slid through the thick schedule. Her mind crumbled at his mere presence. Yet, her determination formed narrower to reach him.

Darkness rolled in the violet hue of dawn. The moon glistened alone in the dimmed night, sprouting as perfectly round. Gradually, the staff and cast members exited the studio. Jisoo relentlessly sought around the studio to grasp him but he was nowhere to be found. She levitated to the upper stories yet, any trace of him was absent. Did he leave? Her brows scrunched in concern.

Next, she made it up the stairs to the rooftop. There, inclined a figure on the brick wall of the terrace, headed towards the bare night sky.

Namjoon's sheer brown irises twinkled against the stars. The cold wind of night washed over his face. Mournful sighs aired from the bottom of his lungs. Jisoo tip-toed to him with the huge cookie box in her hold. "Sunbae nim?"

Namjoon flinched at her voice and glimpsed behind. "You didn't go home?"

"Mom sent these cookies for you."

"What was the need of that?"

"No, she firmly insisted, you have to take."

Namjoon heaved out a sigh and smiled subtly. "Tell her thank you from me."

"No, thank you for saving my life."

Namjoon turned stunned to hear her speech. His pupils dilated as his face froze numb. "You-you know?" The earlier jubilance withered.

She nodded, pursing her lips. "I know everything. Thank you so much. I can't repay ever for your deed."

"It was nothing but an act for another human being. Glad you are sound." he converted to frowning in a dull tone, eyes undaring to glare at her. "You should be leaving now, It's getting late." he rose to his feet and started to step away.

Jisoo's watch was yet settled over his passing frame. A huff of woe released from her mouth as his dull response knocked in her head, the streak of elation glimmered in the corner of his lips. The mouth may lie but not the eyes. He was definitely concealing something from her.
