Felix POV

"Felix!" Sharp yells at me as I watch the lining of the woods with so many thoughts rushing through my head.

"There was a family.. after the Pensieve we found in the cave. They were being attacked, by dark wizards." I turn my attention back to Sharp, who has a worried look upon his weathered face. "Y/n slaughtered them and took both the father and child's injuries, with her magic."

Sharp's face grew blank, processing the information. "How much..?"

"It was bad. They were on the verge of death." I respond.

"She's taken too much. She already had so much." Sharp grabs my arms with both of his hands. "You must take it from her."

"What? Are you bloody mad?" I answer him.

"Go to her and take it, you don't have to take it all, but enough. We know you're capable of it, we know you can handle that magic far better than she can. Take it."

I shrug my arms out of his grasp. "Alright. I'll do it."

"Know your limits Felix, like you've learned." I nod once at him and begin trudging to the woods.

I'm not too surprised by what I see, broken and splinter trees, branches thrown, rocks turned over.

I sigh as I continue along the path of debris that Y/n has left behind.

In the distance I see red zapping balls of magic flinging through the air, crashing into a rock wall supporting a cliff up above. At first small rocks and dust start tumbling off.

Until the fists of magic grow faster, harder, and the mass of earth starts cracking and shifting down.

My eyes widen as I realize what's about to happen, and I start running towards my sister.

I'm shocked at the sight of her, but I have to continue before the whole cliff tumbles down on her. She seems too out of control to even pay attention to what's coming from it.

"Y/n!" I yell at her as a large boulder like chuck starts falling right over her.

Y/n turns to look at me, her eyes not only red from the streaking tears on her face but glowing brightly from the darkened magic building inside of her. Her hair is wildly flowing behind her with some strands stuck to her face with sweat and tears. Her chest rises and falls heavily while her fists bare the red and black streaks of magic swimming, ready and begging to be used.

It's toxic.

I reach her and tumble her to the ground, casting a Protego of my own ancient magic to avoid the cliff crashing around us. Boulder by boulder, it continues as I lean over her with my hands pinning her upper arms to the ground.

Not only to keep her out of harm's way, but to keep her under control. Her red eyes still glare at me furiously.

The last of the earth crashes around us leaving a cloud of dust circulating around my Protego shield.

I let the shield fall but keep my hands resting on her upper arms, staring directly into her eyes. They finally begin to dim, and she starts hyperventilating.

"F-Felix.. Felix!" She starts crying. I hesitantly lift my hands off of her, grabbing her in my arms and holding her against my chest.

"Shh, I'm here little sis. It's going to be okay." I try to soothe her.

"How..? How can it be okay?" She starts trembling. "What's done is done, there's no going back. I'm just like Isadora now.."

I remain silent until she starts calming down. "You'll never be like Isadora." I say, as the sound of cracking twigs and crunching leaves makes us both snap our attention to the left.
