Sebastian POV

"Why is everyone staring at me." Y/n says in a hushed voice beside me. Indeed, there are students looking at her from all around the Great Hall. Including the other house tables.

Imelda leans in, "It's because of the new 7th year." Imelda says in a hushed tone which is humorous to me, considering we're at the farthest end of the table and no one would be able to hear us over the rest of the chatter among the great room.

Y/n scrunches up her face at Imelda. "And what does that have to do with me." She says, pointing at herself. I love that little attitude of hers, it's so sexy. I rest my hand on her thigh and squeeze it, my fingers grazing so close to her warmth down there. Her eyes dart to mine, and I give her a devilish grin in return.

"Let's refresh your memory, y/n." Ominis begins holding onto a cup of pumpkin juice with two hands, resting on the table before him. He's sitting across from y/n and I, awfully close to Imelda.. "You were the first student to have ever started their 5th year, partaking in the sorting ceremony with 1st years. So when we have a new student suddenly starting at their 7th, the other students will remember the only other person to have started so late as well."

Y/n didn't say anything in return. "Apparently no one knows anything about him, besides how devilishly good looking he is." Imelda grins at y/n and she smiles in return causing me to choke on the pumpkin juice I had taken a sip of. Imelda makes a disgusted face. "You spit that out at me Sallow and I'll kick your ass."

"I'd like to see you try." I say leaning in at her, egging her on. Y/n is still quiet beside me, so I gently nudge her. "You alright?" I ask softly, only to her. Oh how I wish it was just the two of us sharing meals every single day. Just like we did that night in the groundskeeper's hut.

"I think so, I just have this awful feeling in my stomach right-" she begins and is interrupted by Imelda's peskiness.

"Look, there he is." I follow her gaze and see the 7th year boy making his way towards the Slytherin table. I recognize the dark hair from last night, but now I can see his icy grey eyes. He's tall I'll give him that, but lean. I could definitely beat him, both in a duel and in arms.

I let out a hmph, doing my best to look unbothered. But then I look back to y/n who has her eyes absolutely glued to him. I brush it off, as everyone is looking at him at the moment, until I see the color start to drain from her face. I look back at the boy who is now sitting with a group of Slytherin 7th years, also staring directly back at her.

Okay now I'm full on irritated. I turn towards her so I'm completely blocking her from his line of sight. I lean in close to her and ask in a hushed tone, "Y/n, you were saying you don't feel well. What's wrong?" Her eyes snap up to mine, as if she was lost in a daze. What the hell is going on here?

"I'm not entirely sure. Can you walk with me somewhere? Anywhere? I just need to get out of here." She asks.

"I'd want nothing more." I respond smiling, to which she returns with her own. I stand up and hold out my hand to help her to do the same. She naturally starts to pull her hand free as we begin to exit the Great Hall, but I grasp onto it tighter slightly pulling us closer together. I normally wouldn't mind if we showed no public affection, but I feel possessive in this moment.

I hate this feeling. Like I have to claim what's mine, like she would ever be anyone else's. I cringe at the thought, not turning around at all to let him have the satisfaction of knowing what I'm doing on purpose in front of him.

We make it to y/n's Room of Requirement, she walks over to a table and leans against it deep in thought. "Something is wrong." She says.

"I'll say, the bastard couldn't keep his eyes off of you. And you wouldn't stop staring at him either." I grumble, folding my arms.

"Exactly, I- wait what?" Her eyes dart up to mine and I can see a smile starting to play at her lips.

"I mean I don't blame you if you think he's attractive apparently the entire female population at Hogwarts does, but.." I trail off as she covers her mouth and starts laughing. "What is so funny about this?"

"By the gods, Sebastian Sallow is jealous!" She exclaims at me.

"I am not jealous. I have nothing to be in competition with him. But I don't like the way he was gawking at you." I say slightly annoyed. She crosses the distance between us still grinning like a fool. I grab up her waist as she comes closer, pulling her tight against me. "You're mine." I say resting my forehead against hers.

"I am yours. And I'm in love with you. That will never change." My heart skips a beat hearing her say the words out loud, I'll never grow tired of hearing them. She shakes her head and leans in to rest it against my chest. I kiss the top of it, smelling the lavender in her hair as she continues. "I was looking at him because of how awful I felt when he entered the Great Hall. My magic responds to danger, it was signaling something was terribly wrong. Then he looked right at me as if he knew." She gently pulls away from me, to my disliking, and starts pacing in front of me.

"Do you think he's a threat?" I ask watching her intently.

"Possibly, not in the way you're thinking though." She flashes me a grin.

I ignore her teasing, saving my ego. "What do you think we should do? You're the only one that knows your magic as well as you do." She stops pacing and faces towards me.

"Well, there is one other person that knows it pretty well."

"Sharp." I say back, she nods in response.

"We should go speak to him. Come with me?" She asks, I reach out to grab her hand, pulling her close to me again.

"I will come with you, of course. Where you go I'll go. I just want to hear you say it one more time."I say looking down at her with both of my hands gently holding her face to look back up at me.

She rolls her eyes at me, it drives me insane when she does that. "I'm yours, Sebastian." I smile at the satisfaction from hearing those words again. I'm not threatened so much anymore by him, rather I'm angry that he's making her feel upset like this.

I lean in to kiss her, hard. "Damn right you are."
