"Welcome to my abode," Han said awkwardly, before slipping his key into the locked door.

They walked into the foyer. Immediately in front of the entrance sat the stairs to the second floor, with a hallway to the left of it. Also on the left was what seemed to be the living room. The living room was nicely furnished, with beautiful wooden cabinets, soft, yellow chairs, and a large, elbow-shaped couch. A TV sat on the wall above the fireplace, adjacent to the couch.

"Wait here a sec," Han said, motioning towards the living room.

Minho made his way to the couch and sat down, analyzing the room with his eyes. He noticed some family pictures on the wall to the left of the TV and decided to walk over and take a look.

But, as he tried to make his way over, he tripped on the carpet that covered the hardwood floor underneath the coffee table. He stumbled and almost caught himself.

Almost.

"EEEK," he shrieked, as he fell into one of the yellow side chairs. [A/n: dumbass lmao]

He quickly stood up, acting as if nothing happened, and looked up the stairs to make sure Jisung hadn't caught his moment of embarrassment. Thankfully, he didn't.

Minho sighed and shook his head.

He finally made it to the family photos in one piece. He looked at each one, noticing how most of them were of Han and his parents in some foreign country. He remembered what Jisung had said earlier about his parents having to move around for work, and he wondered if that's what the pictures were all about.

He admired how cute Han was, and how he was a mix of both his parent's faces. He had his mom's cheeks and his dad's nose.

Minho smiled softly to himself. Man, he really is beautiful.

"Uh, Minho?"

He turned around in a flash, staring at Jisung who was standing on the lower part of the stairs, watching him.

"I uh- sorry. I got curious."

"It's fine," Han reassured him, "Now come on, I finished cleaning up."

Minho followed him up the stairs. Jisung's room was directly ahead of the top of the stairs, so he quickly walked to it.

The room was...chaotic. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't messy, there was just a lot going on.

Minho analyzed the white walls, taking in the posters of random K-pop groups and different animes. The desk that sat in the corner of the room was covered in different projects that Jisung had likely started but got bored of. The shelves that sat next to the full-sized bed showed off his impressive manga collection, as well as many figurines.

Next to the closet was a taller shelf, which sat against the wall. Each level of the shelves was filled with what Minho could only guess were past hyper-fixations. One level was full of K-pop albums and merch, another had an assortment of plushies and another held notebooks with labels on the spines. The very bottom level was being used as a shoe rack.

Jisung watched Minho nervously from the doorway, gauging his reaction.

"Wow," Minho said under his breath.

"I'm sorry, I know it's messy-"

"Dude, your room is so cool," Minho said happily, ignoring what Han had said.

Han just stared at him.

What? He thinks it's...cool?

"Really?" Jisung asked hopefully; his eyes shining.

"Really," Minho said reassuringly, smiling at the boy, "Also, the lighting in here is just amazing." He gestured toward the Christmas lights that hung around the edges of the ceiling, which gave the room a comforting atmosphere.

"Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of bright lighting," Han responded while closing the door to his room and walking over to his bed.

He sat down cross-legged on the bed while Minho continued to poke around. He found Minho's interest in his room intriguing. The last time he had a guest in his room they laughed at him and called him 'childish.'

Minho eventually noticed Jisung staring at him and he realized that he was being a little too nosey. "Sorry," he apologized.

"You're fine," Han assured him, "Is there anything you want to do? I don't have a TV in here but we can watch something on my laptop. OH! I also have some board games!"

Minho smiled at the boy's excitement. He found it cute.

But, Han thought he was smiling because he said something stupid. He can't differentiate facial expressions because he's autistic. [A/n: same lol] Well, that's a slight lie. He was able to pick up on the patterns of people's behaviors in tone and facial expressions when he had spent a lot of time with them. But, Minho was new territory.

"I'm sorry, just ignore that," Jisung said while staring at the bed spread.

"No no, I love board games. Wait! Do you have The Game of Life," Minho bubbled. [A/n: I promise the game choice isn't random, just wait 😌]

"WAIT! You like that game, too?! I can never get anyone to play it with because it's 'boring'," Han said, using his fingers to make air quotes.

"Me too! My friends say the same thing. If anything they're boring," Minho said, crossing his arms with a huff. Jisung giggled.

"Okay, I'll go grab it, stay here."

He ran off, leaving Minho, who was still standing, in his room.

Minho took the chance to sit down on the bed, feeling the texture of the light brown bedspread.

Soft.

"Okay, so some of the pieces are missing but there's enough to play," Han said, suddenly appearing in the doorway with the game in hand.

Minho jumped slightly, not expecting him to be back so fast.

"Oh, sorry," he apologized sheepishly.

Minho scooted to the end of the bed to make room for him and the game. Jisung sat down near the headboard of the bed and quickly set the game up.

"Okay, pick your car and your character," Jisung instructed.

Minho picked up the green car and put a little blue person in the driver's seat.

"Green, huh," Jisung said while smiling.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Minho folded his arms, pretending to be defensive about it.

Han, now starting to figure out Minho's sarcastic tone, put his hands up. "My bad, I just pegged you more for a blue guy."

"Well sorry, I'm not a blue type of guy."

They laughed, remembering the conversation they had had earlier that day. Han grabbed the red car.

"Okay, let's begin."
