A knock at the door of the cat enclosure caused Minho and Jisung to jump. They both looked up, startled by the sudden noise.

"Your order is ready," the worker said before shuffling off to get their food.

Han's face lit up at the news. "Waffles!"

Minho chuckled and carefully removed the cat from Jisung's lap so that he could run to get them a table. Once the cat was on the ground, Han jumped up and quickly ran after the woman.

Minho followed suit, making sure no cats escaped in the process.

He walked into the main room and found Jisung occupying one of the pastel pink chairs at a nearby table. On the table sat two plates of golden waffles, sprinkled with strawberries or chocolate chips, and topped with whipped cream.

He had to admit, they looked delicious.

Jisung waited patiently for Minho to sit down before he dug in.

Within seconds he had devoured half of the large waffle. His cheeks blew up like a squirrel's as he ate. [A/n: He's so cute when he eats *sobs*]

"Wow, you were hungry," Minho teased. He looked up at Han's face and laughed.

"What?," Jisung asked with a blank expression.

"I-, you just- come here," Minho struggled to speak between giggles.

He picked up a napkin, leaned over the table, and carefully wiped away the whipped cream that had ended up on the tip of Han's nose.

Han watched Minho's eyes as he cleaned him up. They were practically heart-shapped.

Heart-shaped?

Minho finished his task and realized that Jisung was staring at him. His face dropped, "Oh, sorry, I should have just told you..."

"No no, you're fine," Han blushed and waved his hands in front of him.

They finished their food in a slightly awkward silence; just thinking: about the waffles, the cute cats, and each other.

They finished their food and went back to play with the cats for another hour, before heading to Chan's house for the hangout.

Chan ran around the basement of his home, tidying pillows on the sofa and armchairs and putting away any objects that did not belong.

This feverish cleaning was fueled by his anxiety about having so many people over.

Thank god I went shopping earlier. There was no way I was going to feed eight people tonight, he thought.

*ding dong*

The doorbell could be heard faintly from the basement. Chan quickly wiped away some dust he spotted on a nearby shelf and ran up the carpeted stairs to meet his guests.

He opened the door and was immediately greeted by Felix, Seungmin, and Jeongin.

"Hi, Chan!" Felix beamed at him while waving his hand.

"Hi," Seungmin said politely.

"Hey..." Jeongin said timidly.

Chan smiled at them. "Hey, guys! You are the first ones here; there are drinks and snacks in the kitchen and we're going to be hanging out in the basement." He pointed to the kitchen and the door to the basement.
