*The next morning at school.*

"He's late," Changbin said while staring at the classroom door.

Chan checked the time on his phone. "He still has ten minutes until the bell rings."

"Yeah, but he is always early. This is just weird." Changbin huffed as he crossed his arms over his chest.

At that moment, Minho walked into the classroom with his hair astray and his cheeks flushed, making it clear that he had ran.

"Well, look who it is," Hyunjin said with a smirk.

Minho just glared at him and took his seat. Chan watched him with a concerned look.

"Are you sick?"

"What? No, I'm not sick, dad, " Minho snapped. Chan lifted his hands defensively.

"Why are you late?" Changbin asked, genuinely interested.

"I had to walk farther than usual, and it threw off my schedule," Minho responded. He had his head in his arms on the table. He hated when his routine changed. It always threw him for a loop and left him feeling agitated. [A/n: Me when autism ^^^]

Hyunjin raised his eyebrows. "What do you mean you had to walk farther?"

Minho stayed silent, his head buried in his arms as he thought of an answer. Ultimately, he decided to tell the truth.

"...I spent the night at Jisung's house-"

"I fucking knew it," Hyunjin shouted as he shot out of his seat. He turned in a circle and did a little dance before sticking his hand out to Changbin. "Five bucks. Now."

"Dammit." Changbin pulled a five-dollar bill out of his pocket, and Hyunjin snatched it away.

"Ha! I win-"

"Hyunjin, sit," Chan said sternly. Hyunjin immediately stopped his teasing and sat down. "Now, Minho. How was it? Did you tell him how you feel?"

Minho groaned. "No..."

"That's okay, you don't have to rush things," Chan said reassuringly. "Did you at least have fun?"

Minho finally shifted his head to where the others could see his face. Chan watched as the purple-haired boy smiled at some personal memory. He hadn't seen Minho look genuinely happy in a long time, and he loved that his friend was finally feeling this way.

"Yeah, I had a great time," Minho finally answered.

"I should have known. Lix' told me you two left together," Changbin said as he shook his head.

"By the way, did you ever ask him about us meeting him?" Chan asked.

Minho shot up. "Shit! I totally forgot." He ran his hands down his face to fully wake himself up. "That was the reason why I was going to meet him yesterday."

"It's okay," Chan said as he patted Minho's shoulder. "How about you invite him over to sit with us at lunch? We could also invite Felix so he doesn't feel like he's surrounded by strangers."

Minho thought about it for a moment. "I'll have to ask him..."

"Alright-"

The bell rang to signal the start of school. The boys quickly sat properly in their seats and prepared themselves for an hour and a half of history.
