Han ran into the kitchen like a child who knew they were in trouble.

Seungmin gave him a look. "Wow, someone's excited about cake."

Changbin giggled. "'Cake.'"

Felix smirked and grabbed Changbin's ass. "Something that you have."

Changbin scoffed sarcastically. "Stop being gay and light the candle."

Felix playfully stuck his tongue out at him and flicked the lighter in his hand, lighting the handful of red candles on the cake.

"Hey, Minho! Come on we're doing the cake," Hyunjin shouted down the hallway.

A few seconds later Minho trudged in, still stuck in a daze.

Chan gave him a questioning look. "You good, mate?"

Han walked over to Minho and pulled him towards the kitchen island where everyone was around. He smiled as he held onto Minho's hand. "He'll be fine."

Everyone looked at each other knowingly. Han winked at Felix and Felix smirked in return.

"Anyways, let's hurry up and cut this cake," Han bubbled.

"Nah ah ah," Chan said, shooing Han's hands away from the cake. "We need to sing you happy birthday."

Han's face dropped. "Absolutely not-"

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU-" Jeongin started shouting. The others quickly joined him in his singing.

Han stood frozen in place, completely unsure of where he was supposed to look while they stared at him and sang.

Minho slid up beside him and pulled Han to him by his waist. He meant for it to comfort him, but instead, it left him a blushing mess.

As everyone finished the song, Han heard Jeongin and Felix giggling at each other over his reaction.

Once the song finished, he took a moment to think about what he would wish for. He had people that cared about him, he was happy, and money wasn't exactly an issue for him. He smiled softly as he thought of an answer.

I wish for the people around me to never experience the loneliness that I once felt. I hope their lives are full of happiness from this day forward.

Everyone shouted happily and clapped as Han blew out his candles.

"Alright, now we can eat cake," Chan said brightly.

He started cutting the cake, splitting it into eight different pieces. "Bon Appétit."

Everyone waited their turns to grab a slice before heading to the living room to hang out.

Minho joined Han on the carpet while the others sat on or around the elbow-shaped couch. Hyunjin sat next to Seungmin, with Chan and Jeongin on the other side of him. Felix and Changin took the main part of the couch.

Hyunjin poked at his cheesecake as he smiled. "This lowkey reminds me of that one time me, Changbin, Chan, and Minho went to that fancy restaurant in the city, and we all forgot our wallets so we had to wash dishes," he laughed.

Changbin looked at him in disbelief. "You're forgetting the part where you promised to buy us all lunch because you owed us, but then you forgot your wallet. So we all ended up doing dishes and dirty work for three hours," he ranted, crossing his arms.
