Han woke up on Tuesday feeling energized for the first time in ages. He was unbelievably excited about the group hangout, and he had even set out the outfit he chose the night before.
He jumped up from his bed and ran to the bathroom to take a shower. He played some music on his phone so he could sing in the shower, but it ended up distracting him horribly, resulting in the shower lasting thirty minutes.
He screeched when he saw the time and rushed to dry himself off. He wrapped the towel around his waist and zoomed back to his room. He put on the outfit he picked out and admired himself in the mirror for a moment. He had on a pair of loose jeans that he had to cuff at the bottom due to the length, as well as a branded black tee under the black and white letterman jacket he had stolen from Minho.
He pulled on the ends of the jacket to adjust it as he analyzed his reflection. It was missing something.
Jisung walked over to his jewelry box on his desk and pulled out some silver chains he had. He picked through them until he found two that were dark gray and different in length and thickness. [A/n: Don't even think about it, you horny bastards.] He clasped them around his neck, then looked through his earrings. He decided upon the basic, black, dangling cross earring and a thick loop one about the same size. He figured off-set earrings would pair well with his aesthetic, and he was right.
He checked himself in the mirror and nodded with a 'Hmmph.' He quickly gathered all his belongings, including his wallet, keys, headphones, and stim toys, into a small, black shoulder bag and threw it over himself.
He flew down the stairs and into the kitchen. He grabbed a granola bar and an energy drink from his fridge. While shoving the bar into his mouth, he ran to the front door and tugged on his black Converses, making sure to tie them in the process.
He opened the front door, expecting to see Seungmin's beige SUV outside waiting for him, but instead he was met with empty, frigid December air. He shut the door, not wanting to stand out in the cold. He took a deep breath to collect himself, then sat down on the second step from the bottom of the stairs.
He ran through a mental checklist in his mind as he waited. "Keys? Yes. Wallet? Yes. Stim toys, headphones? Yep. Meds? ...OH SHIT MY MEDS!" he internally screamed.
Jisung ran back up the stairs and into his room. He opened the two pill bottles he had and grabbed one pill from each. He had been taking the same medications for over a year now, but he still had a tendency to forget about them. One was for his horrible anxiety, and the other was for his chronic depression. He didn't exactly like having to rely on chemicals to keep him sane, but it is what it is. He popped them into his mouth and took a sip of his energy drink to chase them down.
He started to go downstairs, but he froze as he heard a car horn beep in an annoying pattern. Upon realizing it was likely his friends, he scrambled down the stairs, grabbed his bag, and flew out the door, making sure to lock it behind him first.
"'Get in, loser, we're going shopping!'" Jeongin shouted out of the passenger side window.
Jisung laughed at his friend as he walked down his driveway. "How long have you wanted to say that?" He teased.
Jeongin shrugged and started to roll up the window. "None of your business. Now get your ass in the car; it's cold as hell out there," he sassed.
Jisung scuttled to the car with his hands in his jacket pockets. He opened the side door and climbed into the warm, empty back seat behind Jeongin, shutting the door with a thud. Seungmin put the car into drive and started driving out of Jisung's neighborhood, mouthing the lyrics to 'Shoot Me' by Day6.
