TW: mentions of body dysmorphia and bruises
----‐------------------------------------------------------------

"Alright, Minho, time to tell us the details," Chan said.

Minho took a sip from his Americano before sitting it down. They had decided upon going to a nearby café, mostly because it was super cheap.

"Order for Hyunjin!" A barista called out.

Hyunjin shot up quickly. "Don't start without me," he said before running to get his lemon tea.

Minho rolled his eyes at him. "Hurry up, flour boy," he said sarcastically, but anyone could tell he wasn't truly annoyed.

Hyunjin sat back down at the table and carefully set down his mug of hot tea. He motioned for Minho to carry on.

"Anyways, I told him. I told him exactly how I feel about him," Minho confessed.

Changbin stared at him intently. "And?"

"'And' what?"

"And what did he say in response," Chan encouraged.

"Oh, he feels the same way," Minho answered frankly.

Hyunjin slapped his forehead. "Details, Minho, we need the details. How did it happen? Was it romantic? Was it scary? Etcetera etcetera," Hyunjin clarified.

"Um, well it was kind of an 'in the moment' type of thing. He saw the bruises on my stomach from yesterday and he started to spiral. He just kind of...went dark; like he wasn't fully there," Minho trailed off.

Chan nodded. "That's understandable. Especially since he was there for part of it. Did he think it was his fault since it was his bullies?" Chan questioned.

"Yeah, I could physically see the guilt wash over him. It got to the point where it was like he couldn't hear me. Eventually, he asked me why I care so much about him, and so I told him that I loved him," Minho continued.

Hyunjin covered his mouth with one of his hands. "So it was out of need," he stated.

"Yeah, but if I'm being completely honest it was terrifying, even if it did just slip out. The moments between my confession and his response were agonizing," he admitted.

Chan offered him a small smile. "But you have him now, don't you?"

Minho smiled to himself as he stared off into space. "I have him now."

Changbin, Chan, and Hyunjin shared a knowing look. That boy was absolutely head over heels in love.

"Anyways, Felix wants to do a double date really bad. You think we can make that happen?" Changbin asked, changing the subject.

"Changbin, we haven't even been on a real date yet, but yeah, I'm sure Ji would love that," Minho replied.

"Ooo, 'Ji' huh?" Hyunjin teased.

"How many minutes?" Minho threatened.

"...twenty minutes at 180 degrees," Hyunjin said quietly. "That's how long it takes to cook  'Hyunjin' in the air fryer..."

Minho hummed in satisfaction while Chan and Changbin laughed at them, knowing they were only empty threats.

"Alrighty, let's head to that movie, now. I don't want to miss the ads," Changbin said, gulping down the remains of his coffee.

"Same, I like seeing what movies will be coming out soon," Hyunjin added.

They cleaned up their emptied cups and left for the movie. [A/n: They went and saw the Demon Slayer movie because they're a bunch of weebs and I love them.]
