Riddhima looked like someone had dumped a bucket full of ice water on her. Her eyes were wide and she felt her hands sweating. "How did she find out?"

Armaan rubbed his forehead when she asked him that. He knew she was about to be very mad after she was going to find out that he told his mother about them without asking.

"No..." she whispered. "You told her?" Riddhima raised her voice. "Armaan I can't believe-"

"Okay well she found out about you Riddhima, I didn't really tell her!"

"How-"

"I think she saw us in the kitchen before we actually noticed her. And then she cornered me and got it out of me. I swear Riddhima I didn't want to tell her without you knowing but she wasn't even asking me, she was telling me she knew!" He blabbered holding her hands and rubbed them continuously to calm her down.

However, Riddhima was anywhere but calm. She could feel her heart racing out of fear and anxiety and she felt her hands go damp with sweat. "What will she think about me oh my god!"

"She still loves you, don't worry!"

"You're not helping Armaan!" Riddhima cried nervously, holding her head in between her hands. "And she wants to meet me? Oh my god!"

"Which you don't have to, if you don't want to! Look, I'll tell her that you're not ready to meet her okay! And trust me, I made sure that she's supportive of our relationship, and even if she isn't you have nothing to worry about because you know I don't care about anything, I love you!" Holding her face in between his hands he pecked her lightly.

Riddhima took deep breaths, trying not to freak out but nodded, slightly reassured. Ananya always loved her like her own daughter and what were the odds that she didn't mind her dating her son?

His pager went off, breaking off their moment. Armaan grabbed it to see an emergency and he cursed. "What's wrong?"

"There is an emergency at the hospital I have to leave!" Armaan sighed getting off of the bed. He really didn't want to leave her like this after dropping the bomb on her but obviously his job, specially in the case of an emergency, came first priority at the moment. He knew she understood it, which was one of the reasons why he loved her.

"Hurry up and freshen up, I'll make you some coffee so you don't run late!" Riddhima nodded, grabbing his t-shirt from the floor and wearing it before leaving the bed. Armaan nodded and disappeared into the walk-in closet while Riddhima tried to block out the new information and made her way to the kitchen.

The whole time she was making his coffee, and sandwich, all she could think about was Ananya knowing about their relationships. She obviously didn't have a problem with her knowing as it was inevitable, however, she was feeling extremely embarrassed that they weren't the ones to tell her about their relationship.
