A week had passed since Riddhima's hectic day back at work and Anjali's breaking news regarding her wedding. After the announcement, Anjali had personally distributed cards to the whole hospital out of her surprising generosity which shocked Muskaan the most. The wedding was to be held in the following two weeks and it was a small affair, again, to Muskaan's surprise.

'Yaar, you know, I feel like Anjali has taken a whole 360 degree turn!" Muskaan frowned, rubbing her chin, lost in her thoughts. "Can you imagine her distributing the cards to the poor nurses who probably don't match Anjali's standards and status?"

"Oh come on muski! Don't be such a shallow Muski!"

"Ridz cut the crap girl! I think you have seen her true face several times" Muskaan groaned, emphasizing on several. Riddhima opened her mouth to answer her but she shut it immediately when she saw Anjali barge into the lounge.

"I need your help!" She exclaimed, dropping her body on the couch in front of them. "Which one of you is free tonight? Mom and I need some help at home for the wedding preps?"

"Kyun?" Muskaan huffed, "what happened to that bimbo friend of yours–"

"Muski–" Riddhima eyed her.

"She's busy and plus she doesn't have the proper knowledge about these things like you guys do" Anjali exclaimed, sighing, "And, I trust your guys' choice more when it comes to these things!"

Muskaan rolled her eyes at Anjali's reply and muttered "I have night duty" and focused on her daal chawal sitting in her lap. Her lunch was far more interesting and she just wanted to devour it.

"I'll come, don't worry?" Riddhima assured her, feeling positive about the upcoming days. She had already promised Armaan about confronting Anjali and this could be the perfect opportunity.

"Great! So I finish my duty in four hours and I know you do, so we'll leave together!" And she was out of the door as soon as she found the solution to her problem. Riddhima sighed and looked at Muskaan who rolled her eyes at her.

"Poora homework kar ke aayi hai, she knew when you were gonna be done!"

"Muski, come on" Riddhima whined, before she could say more, her pager beeped. "Duty calls" she sighed and got up stretching her body before running out of the door.

"It's just you and me now!" Muskaan muttered to her rice and moaned, taking another spoonful of it.

A few hours later, Riddhima was signing out at the nurses station when she heard Anjali ask "Ready?" She nodded and they both made their way towards the elevator. In less than 5 minutes, they were on the highway driving towards the Malik house.

"So have you decided on the color scheme?" Riddhima asked, trying to break the awkward silence in the car.

Anjali who was in a deep thought jumped out of it hearing her question and nodded negatively.
