After a long day at the hospital, Riddhima was at home - Armaan's home. She had already completed her 80 hours shift for the week, and now Dr. Keerti had forced her to leave and had handed over all her responsibilities regarding the new patient, to Vivain, as they were sharing the case.

Armaan was also not on call, so he decided to rest at home. He left a few hours after Riddhima and was surprised to see her at home, as he walked into the lounge. Well, surprised to see her bag carelessly thrown on the sofa. Besides, he could tell when the love of his love was home. Home felt like home, and not just a building of four walls.

He had been so stressed the whole day. He knew she knew something was up with him. She had already tried asking him and he, very difficultly, pushed aside the topic, diverting her mind. Now that she was here, he knew she would try to figure out what had been bugging him. However, he was in no mood to let it all out.

Loosening his tie, he walked into the kitchen to see her changed into shorts and his t-shirt, which was too big for her, thus she had tied it around her waist, showing a glimpse of her belly button. Her hair were wrapped up in a messy bun and sweat beans adoring her temple, because of the heat in the kitchen.

He admired as she danced around the kitchen, preparing dinner for them. He just leaned on the door of the kitchen, admiringly eyeing her. She was too beautiful - even in her most messy state - and she was his. This thought somewhat relaxed him and just by looking at her weird antics, staring at the cookbook confusingly, pouting, cringing, he smiled to himself. She did put his mind off things most of the time.

As she read the most confusing directions of 'how to make Bombay biryani' she felt someone staring at her. Looking up, she found those gorgeous blue eyes, she had fallen for, smiling at her, lost in her. "Heyy! You're home already?" He expected a warm welcome but was crestfallen to see disappointment shining on her face seeing him.

Riddhima had seen how he had a rough day. The reason was unknown to her and she couldn't do anything about it however she had thought about cheering him up, by cooking his favourite type of biryani. Although she had started cooking, she had never made such complicated dishes before - she only knew how to make tacos, quesadillas, pizza, pasta, and all kinds of junk foods she ate throughout med school to survive. She wasn't used to all the time-consuming recipes, and that is why a 40 minutes recipe had taken her more than two hours to make - and she still wasn't done.

"should I go back? You clearly don't want me here!" Armaan annoying blurt out- sounding mean. It was all unintentional though. He was so stressed throughout the day, he wasn't expecting this kind of expression from her. He was expecting a warm hug and maybe a sweet kiss, if he got lucky. That was the plan! Not lashing out on her. That wasn't definitely the plan.
