"Go away Armaan!" And the was the last thing she said to him before he reluctantly got up and open the door to see a bewildered Muskaan holding a bag full of fruits. She was shocked to see his tearful eyes. Looking away, he made way for her to enter, before leaving the room.
A very shocked Muskaan entered the room to see a teary Riddhima sobbing quietly. Her hands hiding her tear stricken face. She was whimpering softly trying to maintain her tone. Muskaan worriedly closed the door and rushed towards her.
"Hey," She whispered softly, rubbing her arm. "What is wrong? What did he say now?" Muskaan asked softly. Riddhima looked up from behind her hands and nodded negatively, rubbing the tears stains off her cheeks with the back of her palm. "Then?"
"Nothing!" She whispered hoarsely, not feeling good. She hated fighting with her loved ones, because she didn't have many. The close one she had with her was Armaan. Her sister wasn't here, and her parents were dead. Her friends were half just colleagues and the other half, not as close, except Muskaan now.
She had this painful feeling in her abdomen, not because of her injury, but because of her fight with her boyfriend. She loved him to the moon and back but, when he acted like this, it hurt her. And today that she finally voiced out her feelings, now she felt like she hurt him. The look on his face was horrible, when she told him to go away. She knew she had hurt him, but she knew it was much needed.
"Riddhima, you know I'm there for you right?" Muskaan smiled at her making her nod. "You can share with me. What happened with Armaan? Huh?" She asked holding Riddhima's hand in hers as a gesture of encouragement and support. "Why did he look devastated, when he left the room, and why were you crying?"
"I..I talked to him!" She said gulping the lump in her throat. Muskaan looked at her confusingly but, nodded her head, encouraging her to say more. "I told him about how much Anjali and him have hurt me, and how he always pushes me away. He kept on apologizing and I told him, sorry cannot take back his harsh words. I..I pushed him away Muski!" She spoke lifelessly, whilst Muskaan looked at her with a painful expression, worried for her.
"It hurts a lot! To push him away like this!" She whispered looking at Muskaan whose heart clenched seeing Riddhima in this condition. She couldn't see a once bubbly Riddhima, broken like this. She literally wanted to get up and go punch anybody who hurt her. Silence prevailed in the room for a while.
"Ridzi," Muskaan spoke breaking the silence in the room, "You did the right thing, he's your boyfriend, he should know when you are feeling down, and when he's messing up. I'm very happy you told him off today Ridzi, he should know what hurts you and what doesn't. Nothing changes if you keep quiet. I'm truly happy you spoke up for yourself, trust me Ridzi I truly am, however I believe he did not deserve this harsh behaviour."
