Chapter 17: Outfits

Dixie's POV:
Noah and I woke up at four am sharp. The Makeup Team were already at our house with the outfits and makeup and shoes and jewellery. Noah sat beside me with Pressley on his chest feeding her her bottle since obviously I couldn't really breastfeed her while I was getting my makeup and hair done. She actually worked perfectly fine with the bottle to Noah and I's surprise. Kim had asked the stylists to just bring a bunch of outfits and then I could choose which one I wanted to wear. I had to pick two, one for the actual Met Gala and another one for the Afterparty. For the Met Gala I wanted something really vibrant and eye-catching. I was looking at the colours red and orange. I decided to go to orange because I saw this one dress and I absolutely fell in utter love with it. I had my Met Gala outfit picked and now I needed to pick the Afterparty outfit. Kim advised me to pick something fancy for the Afterparty too just because you didn't want people to think you were going to be fancy for five minutes and then just be back to scruffy. I picked out a gold outfit this time that reminded me a bit of a Goddess. I was in love with my outfits and then now I could do my makeup and hair. For my hair for the Met Gala I was going to have it in a bun that rested at the back of my head with a little strand that was in a circle glued to my head. For my makeup, we went with a natural glam but with a brownish- orangey type of eyeshadow to just go with the theme. In the end I looked like this once I had put my dress on:

Now you can tell why I fell in love with this dress. The wings, the feathers, just absolutely stunning. I had also matched the dress up with an orange necklace with white beads. For my shoes I had picked out some orange ones that looked like these:

I was ready! Next I got started with Noah's outfit. Look, I know that man is the most sexiest person in the world, but when I tell you he is hopeless at fashion, I mean he is hopeless at fashion. He picked out a suit with different pants and then a shirt that was blue; just absolutely terrible. I kind of bullied him out of choosing his own outfit since I didn't want him to look absolutely hideous on the carpet and completely embarrass himself. He thankfully agreed because he knew that it was probably for the best too. I picked out a black suit with a black shirt and black pants because Kim told me that literally all the men wear black. The only thing they don't wear black is if they wear a white shirt or if they wear brown shoes. I was going for the all black look with Noah. I fluffed out his hair a bit with my own hands and once he had out his outfit on he looked like this:

I had also picked out three necklaces for him to wear. Next it was Pressley's turn! Saying I was excited to pick Pressley's outfit out was literally an understatement. Okay, like I have said before I wasn't even going to bother putting her in something like a dress because she would purposely throw up on it or just rip it apart with her fingers. Instead, I picked out this bodysuit type of thing that was white and had ruffles on the top. I had matched it up with a pink headband that had a bow on it and a super duper cute white bead bracelet. We were all ready! Met Gala Carpet here we come!
