Kenny Ji's personality had drastically changed . Even his own little brother, Jake Ji, felt as if he could no longer recognize him anymore.

Kenny used to be a loving older brother, and he used to always hang out with Jake. As they grew older, they eventually both gained their own set of friends.

Jake became friends with Dean Kwon, and eventually he also became friends Timothy Park and Eunchan Hong.

Kenny became friends with group of roughhousing kids his age, one of whom was Changyeon Lee. The group started off as normal friends, and it wasn't until middle school that Changyeon decided to establish themselves as a gang.

At first, Kenny wasn't bothered by it at all. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends, and he enjoying fighting and beating up anyone that they thought were below them. They robbed other students, and they humiliated them.

Manwol rose in power, and eventually, they ruled over all of Yeongdeungpo. Kenny Ji felt amazing. He felt powerful. If anyone messed with him, or if they messed with his little brother, they would regret it.

Kenny only began to regret joining Manwol years later, when he and his friends were in their third year of high school. He wanted to become a better person, so he would have a better life as an adult instead of rotting in prison like a criminal. As an adult, the consequences of their actions would be far more brutal compared to the consequences minors were given.

Kenny Ji was no fool; he wasn't stupid. He knew that if he left Manwol, especially going against orders of recruiting Jake into the dirty world, Changbitch would use Jake as leverage. He would threaten Jake if Kenny went against him.

Kenny knew that he had to get rid of Changyeon Lee once and for all, but at the same time he didn't want his little brother to feel any guilt or regret. Kenny broke away completely from Jake and Jake's friends. He completely distanced himself from them, and wouldn't even greet them, or even acknowledge their presence within the same room.

Then, one night, Kenny stole a truck and ran over Changyeon. He made sure to reverse and drive over him multiple times, and ensured that Changyeon had died. He turned himself in to the police.

His plan to break away from his family and friends had failed. Jake still pleaded for an explanation, but Kenny refused to respond to him. Kenny wanted Jake to move on with life, and he wanted Jake to completely forget about him.
