Sprite felt as if Teddy Jin had abandoned him.
Teddy still came by everyday with food and water, but Sprite could smell the other cat's scent all over him. Sprite could tell that Teddy lived with the other cat.
Sprite felt jealous. He wondered why Teddy wouldn't bring him home.
He was tired of the cold rainy nights at Eunjang. He was tired of the loud footsteps and chatter of the students. He was tired of the lonely weekends.
Sprite promised that he would get along fine with the other cat, but Teddy still did not bring him home with him.
He wondered if Teddy will eventually stop showing up and completely abandon and forget about him.
