"That was close..."
I narrowly dodged the blast and I landed on the other rooftop unscathed. Thanks to the teleportation bullet that I'd fired milliseconds before the blast, the shell traveled across the rooftop and teleported there.
I peeked once more through my scope but Buggy, his crew, and the rest of them are gone, making me grumble.
Seeing that no trace of Buggy around, I irritatingly went back to where Elle and my summons at. Snapping my fingers, they disappeared in pixels after saluting me as I carried Elle back to the main plaza.

"Did you catch the bad pirates, Nii-chan?" She asked, I shook my head and sighed.
"Nope. He missed the bullet and disappeared after their cannon nearly blasted me into bits." I replied and her face went horrid, gasping.
"A cannon?! From before?" Elle asked.
This kid is clever...
I scratched my cheek and nodded. Her expression quickly changed into an impressed one, stars twinkling around her and with her eyes. "That's awesome..." I sweatdropped at her.
Did she not worry that I nearly died because of it? Nevermind... She likes explosives...
To pass out the time, we took a stroll around the main part of Harbor Village and I noticed something... unsettling.
"Nii-chan? Is it just me or the town is too quiet?" She asked before I could ask it to myself.
My face quickly changed into a serious one as Elle was right.
"I noticed too," I said, looking around. "It seems that the docks and the plaza we've crossed was the only part that does have people," I added. "Elle, stick with me. No matter what happens do not let go of my leg." I said.
All of a sudden, we both heard another familiar explosion from the distance.
"Y/N-nii! That's the sound of the cannon before!" Elle pointed out.
