"What...?"

Stunned, I glanced at Luffy and he is waiting for my decision.

"You're so cool when you shoot your weapon earlier!" Luffy exclaimed. "Join my crew!"

"Hah?! Why in the damn hell I'm going to join a pirate crew?" I then glanced at Zoro if he was with him. "Oi, Zoro. Is he your captain?" Zoro only nodded. "Wow... What the hell?" I muttered, shaking my head in disbelief.

"So, are you going to?" Luffy asked me with a wide grin. I chuckled.

"If Zoro managed to join you, I won't." Luffy pouts. "But..." Luffy's expression quickly changed. "I can see that even as a pirate, you are a good one. I'll join your little crew temporarily." I stated.

"Yosh! Did you hear that Zoro? Y/N joined the crew! Shishishishi!" Luffy laughed. "Hey! I said temporarily!" I corrected, yet both Zoro and Luffy ignored me.

"A-All of you..." The voice weakly spoke behind us. It was the village chief who is struggling to stand up. "What did you come back for? J-Just stay out of this... This is my fight!"

We glanced at him as he used his spear as a crutch to stand up. "I'M THE ONE WHO MUST PROTECT THIS VILLAGE! DO NOT INTERFERE WITH–!"

Luffy pushed him aside, causing the village chief to stumble. All of us have the same response, surprised why Luffy did that.

"Y-You idiot!" Nami exclaimed. "What the hell was that for?! Why did you do that to the mayor?!" She asked, pointing at the unconscious village chief.

Luffy simply grinned.

"'cause he'll would just get in the way!"

I chuckled at his answer. "Clever." Zoro nodded, agreeing with me. "If you had left him alone without a doubt, he would've charged recklessly. It's safer for him to be unconscious." Zoro stated.

"Oi! Don't do anything unnecessary!" Nami yelled. Luffy nodded and faced Buggy and his crew, calling him out. "AND YOU! YOU... HUGE, RED, UGLY, BIG NOSE!"
