After leaving Harbor Village, we continued our journey Eastwards towards Syrup Village. Luffy, Zoro, and I are talking and deciding whether to land and refill our inventory or to continue and ignore the village. But Nami insisted that we should scout ahead, recruit, and buy something from the village.
Although I don't want to leave Elle alone, Nami reassured me that taking Elle might be the best option for us, since she can travel around and have the experience of running around the village.
If it's not infested by pirates...
We docked on a nearby shore I took a step outside of the ship alongside Nami, scouring the map that she had.
"Wow! There is a mainland!" Luffy exclaimed, looking at the lush terrain in front of him.
"What are you talking about? Of course, there is, we just followed the map!" Nami replied. "Y/N and I could ask around to see if the village is nearby."
"Yep, I think I need to step out of the boat and stretch my... legs," I said after I stretch them. "Elle should be fine with us, besides..." I glared at Zoro, taking a nap. "Giving her to Zoro might be a bad idea."
"What are you talking about?" Zoro said with a bored look, yawning. "I'm just going to sleep in here. So I don't care if she's gonna leave the boat and roam around."
"See what I mean?" I glanced at them.
"Is there a town that way?" Luffy pointed at the dirt road.
"According to the map, there is one. A little one..." Nami replied, looking attentively at the map.
"Hmm... That's good. At least we could ask the villagers for goods. And the best idea after that is to restrain Luffy here. Or else he'll blurt out that we're 'pirates' again." I said while I stressed the word to them.
"Oi, Y/N," Zoro called.
"Yeah? What is it?" I asked after I put down one of our giant satchels.
Zoro points his finger at the hill by the distance, informing us. "Who are they?"
