With Vivi
Several minutes later and Alabasta's Elite Guards made their attempt to rescue the King and Princess Vivi. They failed and was defeated by Crocodile, whos said Devil Fruit merely phases out their attacks, rendering it completely useless, adding it with jeering from the said leader of the Baroque Works. That slightly cornered Vivi into a wave of hopelessness but also remembered herself that Luffy is coming hastily to the royal palace to defeat Crocodile.
Kouza, the Rebellion group's leader arrived at the palace as well, catching the scene when Crocodile recently defeated the last of King Cobra's Elite Guard.
"Am... Am I seeing things?" Kouza catches his breath once upon seeing Crocodile's mess. "I came here with the intention of persuading the Royalist Forces to defect, but-" Kouza looked and see the unconscious guards lying all around. "-the first thing I see here is the King... about to be killed at hands of this 'Country's Hero'! I can hardly believe what I'm seeing.
Crocodile... simply just laughed it off. "KUAHAHAHAHA! Isn't this an interesting turn of events?! In the midst of the Rebellion's climax- to think that the leaders of both sides would all come here and meet with each other! It's as if this war is being fought by head-less lizards!"
Kouza was shocked, of course, betrayed and furious on what he'd heard. Yet, he steeled his emotions and didn't said anything. Only the beating and thumping noises of loud rotary flying vehicles can be heard from the background as Kouza opened his mouth, and realized all of it, putting altogether piece by piece.
