✿————✿You blocked his number. That was the most ethical thing to do.
Or at least, that's what you told yourself for the last few days—and on the bus ride to your class.
Since high school, Yemi had told you that you had a bad habit of blocking people you didn't want to talk to. While she may have been right (considering you had once hung up on your mom mid-argument and then proceeded to block her out of anger and almost got your ass beat when you got home), sometimes blocking people really just was the best solution.
That, or you were just really bad at confronting people about your feelings and communicating.
You rode the bus in your own world, got off in front of your lecture hall in your own world, and took your seat in your own world.
The teacher was explaining something about the test, but your mind was wandering and you couldn't pay attention to anything for the life of you. That is, until you heard someone speak right next to your ear.
"Hey, what's the answer to number thirteen?"
You nearly jumped out of your seat. Of fucking course.
You turned your head, brows furrowed, and were met with Suna's light green eyes.
"I knew you looked vaguely familiar." He realized. "We've been in the same class all year. Isn't that crazy?"
"Completely," you replied, feeling your face heat up. You never thought you would actually see him again, especially just minutes before taking your test. How come you hadn't noticed him in class before?
He examined your face for a second before speaking again. "Thanks again," he said quietly.
You avoided his gaze, face burning at this point. "It was nothing, seriously. I was kinda out of it yesterday, so you helped distract me."
He quirked an eyebrow. "Oh, so I'm just a distraction?" You almost apologized but he spoke first, smirking. "I can live with that."
You thought he'd go back to leaving you alone after that, but you were wrong. He started again.
"You know, it sucks that it took us the entire semester to talk. Now I only have today to offer to pay you back."
Your head lifted and turned to him before you even realized it. "You were serious?"
He nodded as if it was obvious. "I know there's a room with no class today, can you meet me there? In five? I'll text you the number."
You had so many reasons why you absolutely should not do this on the tip of your tongue, but then you thought of all the things that could happen in that room, with him. It would be so stupid of you to reject an offer like this from a guy as cute as him.
So you nodded. His lips broke into a grin and he stood, not looking back as he headed out the class. Your professor was still explaining something and you were sure he wouldn't even notice if you were gone.
You exited the class a few minutes after, once he'd sent you the location.
Walking through the building, you couldn't help but think you were actually making a bad decision. Again. You didn't know this guy well enough to be sure that he wasn't just a serial killer that lured young girls in by being really attractive and posting things on his spam story that are borderline over sharing (not even borderline—they just are).
You looked at your phone to make sure you were in the right area, only to find that it was quite literally dead.
'So now I'm gonna be late taking my final and my phone is dead' you thought to yourself. 'I need someone to slap some sense into me.'
