"I swear to God I just saw a cockroach wink at me from the counter." Osamu commented while holding the menu in his hands. Atsumu rolled his eyes.
"Guys, come on. Their chocolate chip waffles are sooo good, I'm really excited to get it!"
"The melts look really good too." you said. "Really wish they had French toast, though."
"Can't have everything, I guess." Osamu sighed. "Y'know, how you can't have both Sakusa and Suna?"
Your brows furrowed and you lowered your menu to look at Osamu in disbelief at the same time Atsumu turned, eyes widened.
Osamu was quite unaffected.
"What the fuck?" Atsumu asked after a moment of silence. Osamu finally looked up and flicked his eyes between the two of you.
"What, was I not supposed to mention it? It's been, like, three months of them talking everyday." He turned from his twin to you. "His room isn't that far from ours, we can still hear him on FaceTime with you sometimes. And the two of you text all the time, it's not really subtle."
"Yeah, we're friends, are we not supposed to talk? I've been texting Atsumu a lot too."
"You know who you don't text a lot? Sakusa."
"We talk in person more, it's different."
He tilted his head. "Is it?"
Before you could reply, the waitress came over to take your orders.
Osamu placed his order nonchalantly, like a prick, and you did yours next. Atsumu was still struggling to figure out what he wanted besides the waffle by the time it was his turn, but that gave you a lot of time to think about Osamu's words.
