"Avalon sit," Rieka declared. "Good girl, good girl!" she praised.

Her fathers words echoed in her mind, you will raise them, train them, take care of them and when the time comes you will bury them. Her direwolf was going to be perfect.

Rieka smiled down at Avalon as she licked at her legs.

Ned wasnt happy though, he looked up from the decree Catelyn was so excited about. Ned was happy Robert was coming but he wasnt a fan of an infestation of lannisters and now a proposal for Satori to Tyrion Lannister? Hell no.

"SHe would be the lady of Casterly Rock!" Catelyn corrected. "She would do great there," Ned stared down at his eldest daughter and although she was 16, barely a year younger than Robb, she was still his baby girl. He didnt want to lose her. Not to a lannister of all people.

"She would be a lannister." Ned corrected. "And I say no."

"Is it wise to refuse Tywin Lannister?" Catelyn challenged. Ned stared back at her his face unreadable. "He is the most powerful man in westeros."

"Really? Since when did he become king?" Ned countered and Catelyn scoffed.

"Ned, honestly-"

Rieka heard them bickering, it was hard not to. She heard her name and thought the worst, they were bickering about her.

"Hey Rieka." Theon whispered coming up behind her, she leaned back into him, "Avalon is definitely the most beautiful of the wolves, I picked her out with you in mind."

"Why is that?" Rieka countered.

"Beautiful and deadly."  Theon remarked.

"She's going to be deadly one day." RIeka agreed as Theon wrapped his arms around her. She blushed leaning into his touch.

"Hands off my baby sister." Robb demanded.

"Baby." Rieka scoffed.

"Hands off Greyjoy." Robb repeated and Theon took a step back raising his hands in surrender. Rieka stared back at him needy.

Theon was three years older than her and at times it seemed like a gigantic age gap, mostly when Robb butted in calling her his baby sister and throwing around the protective big brother card.

"He is your best friend." Rieka reminded him defensively.

"And you are my baby sister. I got veto power."

"I get double veto power." Rieka countered.

"You do not." RObb challenged. "Besides you want a man that will fight for you, Theon won't." Theon moved to the swords and held one up, Rieka's heart fluttered and panties would have dropped. "Seriously?" Robb questioned.

"I would fight for the honor to ask your sister out on a proper date." Theon agreed.

"Seven hells." Robb grumbled shaking his head but he moved to grab his sword. Rieka watched them circle as Grey Wind came up rubbing against her legs.

"You can still back out." Robb remarked. "No harm in it now, wouldnt you hate for Rieka to see me whip your ass to the ground?"

"She's worth fighting for." Theon corrected and Rieka fanned a hand in front of her face.

"Is it getting hot out here? I'm dripping."  Rieka remarked.

"It's fucking freezing, keep your cloak on." Robb corrected but she let it fall to her feet. She snowflakes kissed her neck and exposed chest in her deep blue dress. Theons eyes raked over her as she smiled back at him.

Robb whacked at his blade getting his attention back on him. Rieka vaguely heard Ser Rodrick grumbling for them to begin. They were moving with precision and Rieka smiled leaning into the figure that magically appeared beside her.

Ned wrapped an arm around her after picking up her cloak.

"You look very entranced Rieka."

"I am." She agreed not taking her eyes from Theon.

"They seem a bit more focused than usual." Ned added watching them train.

"Theon is fighting for Rieka's honor." Bran agreed jumping down from the wall.

"Rieka's honor?" Ned countered shaking his head.

"Yeah, its romantic." Rieka agreed smiling back at them.

"Why does he think he can win your honor?" Ned countered trying to pull Rieka from her trance.

"Because I want to give it to him." RIeka offered simply.

"Heavens." Ned was going to be sick. "He will have to duel me and he will end up a bloody puddle on the ground if he does that."

"He didnt hesitate when Robb challenged him." Rieka corrected before comprehending what Ned said. "DADDY!" RIeka shouted turning to face him finally. "DON'T RUIN MY LIFE!"

"I'm being honest and you can do better than Theon." Ned corrected and Rieka huffed a breath. THeon felt defeated hearing Neds words, he cared for the Starks, cared for Ned like a father and for him to say such a thing, he knew realistically he was just being protective of his daughter but it still hurt. THen Robb sliced into his while Theon was distracted and he hissed at the pain. RIeka ran to him.

"He lost Rieka." Robb corrected.

"You hurt him." Rieka sneered.

"Twas a duel baby sister." Robb agreed. Theon grasped his arm, the crimson blood bleeding through his sleeve and fingers.

"I'm okay Rieka. Good match, Stark." Theon assured.

"Come on, I will stitch you up." Rieka begged holding onto him.

"Need to be babied Theon?" RObb chuckled out and Theon smirked back at him. He lost the bout but from where he stood with Rieka, he was winning.
