*El's POV
I woke up with my head pounding
I winced trying to get comfortable
'Since when was my bed so scratchy?' I thought squinting my eyes
I groan because of the amount of light
"What the-" I say stopping when I feel arms around me
Frightened, I turn to fight and protect myself
But then I see him
'Wow' is all I could think
He looked ethereal
Breathtaking
Wow
I keep looking up at him
Watching as his breath evens out and his arms tighten around me
"You watching me sleep El?" I hear his morning voice croak
"What?! Um no." I say startled
I sit up and brush my skirt down
"Hm, sure." He says sitting up and leaning against the tree once more
"Are you gonna tell me why you ran?" He asked looking at me
My cheeks flush
"No, not today...But maybe someday." I grinned
"I'll take it." He smirked
"Well the sun's setting, I gotta go home, before Hop sends out a search team." I joked
He chuckled
The sound so sweet to my ears
"Okay but call Max and the rest, their worried." I heard him say as I picked myself up
'Right'
"Okay, thanks...Mikey." I teased smirking
"Anytime Ellie." He teased right back
I stopped in my tracks, my smirk disappearing
'He used to call me that.'
"Are you ok?" Mike asked concerned
"Yea, just please don't call me that." I said turning to face him
His eyebrows furrowed as he nodded
I let out a small breath offering him a small smile and walking home
