~Around 300 years later~
Over the 300 years the three new members had been with us, we had spent a lot of bonding time together. We learned a lot about each other.
Leo was mischievous and loved to pull pranks. He hated tense situations and would crack a corny joke to ease the tension. He was always joking and would use humor to hide his pain. He was great at cooking and was brilliant when it came to anything mathematical or technical. He preferred to use his gadgets to fight and would spend half the fight making witty comments. He always wore his tool belt, just in case he needed something. His preferred age was 15.
Although slightly pessimistic, Frank was definitely the nicest member of the team. Kind and loyal, he was fiercely protective of those he cared about. He was somewhat shy around people he didn't know but that never stopped him from helping anyone he could. He was a great archer but was also skilled with a spear. His domain of courage allowed him to assist someone in overcoming their fears, or, on the twist side of it, he can take someone's courage from them, though he rarely did so because he felt it was too cruel to do to someone. He and Hazel preferred their 16-year-old forms.
Hazel was a sweetheart. She was the most merciful as well as the most accepting. However, she had a sharp tongue, always ready with a sassy comeback or sarcastic comment. Like Frank, she helped anyone she could. She was an expert with a cavalry sword, and would usually ride into battle on Arion, a horse that she had befriended on one of our missions. She normally wore a simple dress, with a belt at her waist that usually held a sheathed dagger.
Ethan was the realist. He pointed out the pros and cons of every situation. He had done away with the eye patch, as it hindered his sight and was a disadvantage in battle. He was a talented artist, though no one would be able to tell just by looking at him. His preferred age was 24. He had painted portraits for each team member, as well as landscapes from the planets we visited for missions and put home planet. His many acrylic paintings had replaced each of the former artwork in our wing of the palace. He loved to fight with a sword and was our top strategist.
Silena was a social person. Her smile and laughter were contagious and she was able to make even Michael smile. She spent a lot of time organizing and managing the many charities she had founded and organizing service projects and relief missions. She changed her age every once in a while, varying from 18 to 22. She usually fought with a dagger and the hidden blades in her vambraces. She was the official ambassador and my right hand when it came to diplomatic matters.
If Beckendorf wasn't spending time with Silena, he could usually be found in his workshop. Although he wasn't very social, everybody liked him. He always knew what to say to comfort someone. Like all the couples, him and Silena always matched their ages, and he usually let Silena choose, as he didn't care as long as she was happy. He and Leo worked well together, and had created many gadgets to support our army in battle. He oversaw the forges and personally crafted the weapons for the team, Jamison, and Sam.
Travis was mischievous and was always playing pranks with Connor. The two were practically inseparable but hated when people assumed they liked all the same things. Travis loved to fight. He was a quick learner and loved to train the new recruits. He was the commander of the special operations unit of the army. They were basically another Team Omega, except they took on lower profile cases. They chose the name Delta to represent their unit. He was a brilliant strategist and often worked with Ethan during battles.
Connor, on the other hand, hated direct combat. He was skilled, sure, but he preferred to remain in the shadows. He was the commander of the infiltration unit. Basically, he led, trained, and handled all undercover operations. He taught his recruits to be the perfect spies. They each had multiple aliases and could blend in anywhere. They were experts at disguises and we're brilliant actors. His training was rigorous and most dropped out, leaving a total of 23 people in his unit. They chose to be called the Shadows.
