For the next six months, Kola and Nolan came over in the early morning every weekday and stayed until 6:00. I taught them different basic subjects, such as language and math until Nolan began his advisor training and Kola began training her magic with me.

Kola had advanced quickly in her training, and I was sure that by the age of 16, she would be ready for her staff.

Currently, I was sitting in the common room, reading a book that Jack had recommended. It was about the laws of Demos, and how the legal system worked. Some might have found it to be boring, but I quite enjoyed learning new things, and knowing these would make living there much easier. Kola was currently with Thalia, who was teaching her archery, so I had some time off.

"Hey, Loki," Silena interrupted my reading, earning an annoyed huff.

I didn't look up from my book. "Yes, Silena?"

"Can you get Percy out of the training room? He has a meeting that he has to attend."

"And his advisor cannot do this because...?"

She rolled her eyes and took the book out of my hands, marking it and setting it aside. "Nolan is busy learning about law from Luke. You're the second-best option."

"Wow, thanks," I deadpanned.

"Just go," she huffed.

I sighed before standing and making my way to the training room. When I entered, I saw Perseus beating up a dummy. "Perseus?" I called.

He turned to face me, and a look of surprise crossed his face. "Hello, Loki. What can I do for you?"

I shrugged. "Silena asked me to come get you for a meeting that you have to attend."

His brow furrowed. "I don't have a meeting scheduled for today."

"Perhaps it was a last-minute thing," I suggested.

He nodded thoughtfully, though he appeared to be doubtful. "Very well. Let's head to the meeting room."

We walked to the meeting room to find no one there. A look of realization and irritation appeared on his face. Then he smirked. "So, we've been pranked," he muttered. "That'll come back to bite them."

He closed his eyes and actually called a meeting. When everyone appeared in their chairs, he glanced around at them. "Alright, guys," he said seriously, though there was a mischievous glint in his eye, "we have a new mission."

I saw Luke, Silena, and Piper pale at his words and glance at each other like, "This isn't how this was supposed to go!"

"How many people will you need?" Gamora asked.

"Just three," Perseus said. "The mission might take a while, but it won't require many people. I need them to infiltrate the royal palace on 359-C in disguise."

I almost laughed. 359-C had a very high security system. Just getting into the palace would take a week. I held it in, however, to keep up the act that this was a serious mission.

"Who are you sending?" Sarah asked. "I'm not familiar with 359-C and I'm still trying to handle my domain, but if you need me to go, I will."

"No, no," Perseus said, waving her off. "I will send Luke, Piper, and Silena. Actually, we'll make it four people. I'm sure this will be wonderful learning opportunity for Gamora."

I coughed to cover my amused smile. The mission would have been hard enough even without having the youngest and most inexperienced member go along for a "learning experience."

Silena smirked a little, glancing at me. "Why not Loki?" she asked slyly. "I'm sure he would enjoy it."

Perseus glared her so intensely that I was surprised she didn't spontaneously combust. "Loki will be staying here," he said sternly. "You four, go gather your things and get ready to go. You might want to pack for a longer trip. You aren't allowed to come back without the evidence we need."
