PETE
A couple of hours after Vegas had left for his meeting with Kinn, Pete woke up with his stomach growling. Even though his head still hurt and the whole world was still spinning, living him a little nauseous, his appetite was full on track. He tried to sleep a bit more again, but his empty stomach was more than enough to keep him awake, so, with a grunt, he sited on the bed and started to look for his phone.
The room was a mess of clothes scattered through the floor and sheets that fell from the bed at night. The last thing he remembered was being carried by Vegas to their room and having sex in the shower while Vegas tried to bathed him with cold water, probably trying to brush his drunkenness away. He found his phone under his boxers right beside the bed, on the floor. He quickly picked up and almost chocked when he saw the time. It was almost 2pm! He never slept for so long before so he was quite shocked; besides the hour, he saw that there was a few messages from Vegas, sent not long ago.
Pete unlock his phone and went straight to Vegas’s name on his contacts.
Vegas: The meeting was longer than I expected.
Vegas: I’m coming home. Do you want anything to eat?
Vegas: Are you awake yet?
Pete smiled and texted that he was awake and fine – well, as fine as he could be while feeling like his head was being ripped out of his body – and asked Vegas to bring curry. It was one of the bests things to cure hangovers and always remembered Pete about his home. It’s been a while since the last time he visited his grandparents and he was starting to missed them a lot.
Pete didn’t told them about the incident with the main family neither about his choice of resign from them and join the second family, he knew that his grandparents would be worried sick about him and that wouldn’t do any good to anyone. In the last eight months, every time he called his grandma, Pete would tell her that he was fine and eating well like she always told him to. He eventually told her he was dating someone, but didn’t mentioned that the “someone” was his last boss cousin or even a important member of the Theerapanyakul family. Well, thinking better, he was starting to feel that now that Vegas was healthy, it was a good time to take him to the province where Pete was born; that way Vegas could meet his family, taste his grandma’s food, visit the places that Pete used to love going when he was younger... He really wanted that, since he was sure that Vegas was the right person for him, so he wanted him to feel like he was also part of Pete’s family. And a change of airs would do wonders to Vegas, take him away from Bangkok for a while and let them have the time together that they weren’t able to have until now.
Pete smiled with the thought and he decided that once Vegas was at home, he would present the idea and hope that Vegas could be on board too. He quickly got up from the bed and made his way to the bathroom to take a shower before Vegas got home. But, as soon as he got himself out of the bed, his stomach twisted and Pete could feel a strange warmth on the back of his throat and then, he ran towards the bathroom as fast as he could.

“He definitely shouldn’t have drink that much of liquor” was what he thought while he poured all his stomach contents into the toilet. Pete was a light drinker, so even a can of beer could make him drunk. He could still remember how bad he would feel in the mornings after Tankhun decided that they needed to go to Yok’s bar and how he used to hide in Arm’s room when Tankhun started to want to go there every single night. As a bodyguard, puking every morning and feeling sick every day wasn’t something that Pete could afford, so he started to go with Khun Kinn to every late night meeting, every business negotiation in a attempt to avoid being drunk at night and terribly sick the next morning.
