DELICATE DAISIES, VIBRANT POPPIES AND ELEGANT LAVENDER swayed in unison, their petals gently brushed against their fingertips as they passed, releasing their delicate perfumes into the air. In the distance, a small stream meandered through the meadow, its crystal-clear waters glistening under the sunlight.

The babbling brook added a gentle soundtrack to the scene, as the water cascaded over smooth stones, creating a soothing melody that resonated with the serenity of the surroundings.

Time seemed to slow down, and worries and stress dissipated into the gentle breeze. It was a place where one could find solace, where the beauty of nature captivated the senses and rejuvenated the soul.

Rieka needed moments like these in her life to keep herself lighthearted and free spirited.

Megumi had gone away for a class trip for a few days so the woman didn't have much to do with her morning .. considering the presence of Rika had scared away many of the higher grade curses who had a sense of a power hierarchy.

Her chestnut brown hair was tied to the side and her long lavender skirt and white long sleeve seemed to blend in with the wildflowers. It was a place she wanted to show Riko, knowing that she would have loved it.

"You need a minute?" The man from behind her had asked.

Rieka nodded, patting the patch of grass beside her as he sat down.

It was still extremely cold but this part of the Urashima estate wasn't affected by it from their temperature regulation spell, similar to the one placed on the garden where Riko was buried.

The sorceress rarely returned back to the estate. The servants and maids worked quietly as dead rats, knowing that she still held a grudge and if they worked any other way, they'd likely be dead.

As much as she hated the place that had taken away a part of her childhood .. it was a beautiful place.

They didn't mind being late, considering they were called by the elders.

It was almost Gojo's birthday again. Rieka had been trying to coordinate something with the students to throw him a small surprise, but it would be a bit difficult considering they were in and out on missions and the situation at hand with Yuta and Rika.

"Man .. I didn't wanna drag you with me, but it'd be more troublesome if I didn't." Gojo rubbed the back of his head in annoyance. He really did try to keep her out of authoritative matters .. but sometimes it couldn't be helped.

They were getting called in due to the incident of the day prior when Rika had manifested in her full fledged form .. after they had promised to handle the situation.

It really was unfortunate that they were the ones they kept the Jujutsu society running.

"It's just every once in a while." Rieka breathed out the words as she stretched her arms, falling backwards onto the blades of grass that seemed to invite her into their own presence.

"Satoru, we have to make sure that we never become like those old geezers when we retire."

"Tasteless and traditional? No way! It's unforgivable to steal away a kid's youth .. you and I both know that." He almost sound offended that she had brought up even the idea of it.

She chuckled. He always stressed over them the most.

They were old now, beyond their years of being a teenager or a child. But the years they had spent doing so were both miserable and fulfilling, it was the peak of their lives. They lost and learned and grew into who they were now .. some for the better, some for the worse.
