Narrator's POV:
Izuku was left dumbfounded as he was bent over the pool's edge, Bakugo moving his hands to go to his own pants.
But before anything could even happen, the fire alarm went off, much to the dismay of Bakugo and, surprisingly, Izuku. They both scrambled out of the pool and Bakugo peeking outside to see what was happening.
There was a wave of panic, people running each which way, and Bakugo stepped back in horror, Izuku quickly following and stepping back as well.
"What the actual fuck.." There was a wall of bright blue flames in front of them, and to add to the horror, a tall man with black hair stepped from the flames, unharmed as he ruffles through the hotel keys.
Izuku let out a frightened gasp as the man took his hand and fire came out of them, burning the keys to a crisp. Both Izuku and Bakugo were terrified, but they both paled when the man looked over at them and smirked. "Boss, I got eyes on them."
Izuku was frozen but not until Bakugo snapped him out of his thoughts with a "RUN!!"
And so they booked it through the halls, the man following close behind them as he lit everything on fire. The lights flickered as booms echoed through the buildings, seemingly explosions exploding through the hotel. The two hit a corner, booking it out of the exit.
Izuku made it first to the car, and he didn't know what compelled him, or where he learned this, but he grit his teeth as he broke the window and unlocked the door, Bakugo hopping in the passenger seat and Izuku in the drivers seat.
He looked in the rearview mirror and saw the man surround their car with flames, Bakugo panicking and yelling at Izuku to hurry up and start the car.
Izuku zoned out all the chaos around him, and he zeroed in on the ignition. He had to get the car started. He reached down and began to hotwire the car, the car popping to life.
Izuku laughs in relief and realizes the man was basically at the window, and Bakugo yelled at him one more time to drive.
So, he did.
Izuku put the car in reverse quickly and sped out of there, turning the wheel while still going backwards. He shot past the flames that were surrounding the car, and he looked back. Izuku shifted the car into drive and sped off, 2 black SUV's speeding right behind him.
What was with all the high speed chases?? Before he could answer his own question, he noticed the SUV's were closing in on him, Izuku cursing and driving faster.
Bakugo was in shock at Izuku's driving skills, where the fuck did he learn that from?? Izuku looks over sheepishly and smiles. "I ah, I play too many video games."
Izuku was hitting 140 mph, speeding past other cars and stoplights. He heard loud bangs, and then the windshield was shot through. Izuku gasped and drove into a deserted road, turning the wheel hard.
"Hold on Kacchan!" The car spun in a circle, and Izuku could see who was in the SUV's. It was like they were moving in slow motion, and he looked over at Bakugo, he looked like he was scared shitless.
Then, he wondered. Why aren't I freaking out?
Again, he didn't have time to answer his own question, he was spun the other way, hitting the gas and speeding off.
The SUV's had lost them, and Izuku took a breath and slowed the car down, looking at Bakugo.
"What in the hell was that?? He was spitting fire out of his fucking arms, we almost lost our life like three times today, and you just sped off like you were in a fucking Fast and Furious movie!! Where the fuck did you learn to hotwire??" Bakugo exploded, and Izuku couldn't even answer most of the questions.
It was like someone took over him, he felt like he was being controlled like a puppet. Izuku realized he was on his way to his mom's house, and he figured she would have an answer. She just had to.
"ANSWER ME DAMMIT!!! WHAT IS SO IMPORTANT ABOUT YOU DEKU???" Bakugo looked at him and Izuku hit the wheel, looking at Bakugo with tears in his eyes.
"I DON'T FUCKING KNOW KATSUKI!!"
It was silent in the car, and Izuku sobbed, pulling over and parking the car. "I-I don't know! I'm not important, me or my mom have no enemies, I stay to myself, and I barely even come out of my house. Katsuki, I don't know. I'm tired and frustrated, I'm hungry, we haven't eaten for hours out of pure fear! My friends, my mom doesn't know where I am, and I'm sure my mother is worried sick to her stomach!! You're asking me questions I don't know, I'm in this with you! I'm running with you! I'm having these dreams and suddenly I think I can make stuff float with my mind- Katsuki I'm going fucking nuts!"
Izuku finally burst, leaning on the wheel while sobbing his eyes out. Bakugo fell silent, trying to process everything that just happened in the span of 10 minutes. He sighed and rubbed Izuku's back.
"Izuku, I know you might not feel up to it, but those dreams? They could be the best shot we got at trying to find out what's happening. So, would you tell me? Every single detail, I want you to tell me."
Bakugo spoke in a calm and sorrow-filled voice, and he realized Bakugo was just as in much danger as he was in. They were in this together. They had no choice. At the moment, they were all each other had.
Izuku nodded and took a breath, sitting up and spilling out what had been brewing in his mind ever since they were at the penthouse.
"Katsuki, I think I'm Reno."
