Chapter 31: Cosmic

This part was inspired by Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. I just saw the movie a few days ago and it was absolutely amazing, and I decided to take some inspiration since the plot line of my own story somewhat has the same world-building. I had hit a huge author's block, and it wasn't like I didn't know what I wanted to write, it was about how I wanted my story world to be seen. 

Then I watched the movie and it was like everything I had ever dreamed of this story to be just fell into place right in my arms. My imagination went wild, and I was like 'my story has the same concepts, why don't I research and fully analyze the movie to understand it?'

So, I went to work. I analyzed and researched about the real science of a possible multiverse, and well, without spoiling too much, I think I did it. I created a world where I can take creative responsibility and effectively write other books that base off of this.

BTW, before we start, I did not copy off of the movie, I took inspiration and used it to build up my own world that I had already created.

There will be no spoilers, and if you haven't seen the movie then it's alright!

Narrator's POV:

"KACCHAN!!" 

The building was tipping over, about to fall. Izuku and Bakugo ran side by side, covering each other's tracks as Izuku used his quirk to speed his way to civilians. He would zoom back and forth, taking them to safety and then running back to rescue more.

"On it Deku!!" Bakugo blasts his way up, along with KIrishima and Momo, who was making some support ropes strong enough to hold the building. "What the hell happened???" Bakugo roars at them, they were supposed to be in charge of patrol for that area.

"We literally do not know Bakugo! We told you, everything was fine, then a big ass white portal of fucking doom opened up! Have you looked up lately???" Kirishima exclaims angrily, looking up. So does Bakugo, and his skin pales. "Holy mother of-"

Cars started to fly out of the portal at full speed, and Izuku came back just in time, moving the cars out of route so that it would hit buildings and not civilians. After Izuku was finished handling that, he landed next to Bakugo. "What in the hell??" 

"That's what I said!" Bakugo puts his hands on his hips. "What is going on??" Momo cries out, finishing the ropes and obviously in a panic.

A big rumbling sound came from the portal, and they all braced for the worst, but all that fell out was a...was that a person?? Bakugo cursed and blasted his way up there, catching the boy in his arms. He blasts back and sets him down on the roof that they were on.
