Narrator's POV:
UNIVERSE-156
Reno was tied up to a chair, he looked up at the four heroes who were in front of him with desperate eyes, looking around frantically.
"P-Please!! You don't understand, the whole universe- or well...I guess universes- anyways, they're gonna die!! This is serious!"
Bakugo and Deku looked at one another before Bakugo bent down to look him in the eyes menacingly. "Okay. Let's say we believe you. What would you do?" Deku questions, pulling up a chair as Kirishima and Momo back up and exit the room to let the duo do their thing.
"And why the fuck do you look like Deku." Bakugo questioned, looking Reno up and down.
"Okay, c-can I explain myself? Like, my full story?" Reno questions, and Bakugo looks at Deku, Deku nodding and sighing. "Alright."
"Okay well, to start off, I'm you. Technically but not really." That made everyone go silent, and Bakugo bursts into laughter, not believing his ears. But Deku had on a serious face.
"You're me." "Yeah, but like from a different universe, but then again technically not really because there is a you in that universe." Reno explained, and Deku looks at him blankly.
Deku sighs, he had to give him the benefit of the doubt, hell anything was on the table at this point. He pinches the bridge of his nose and looks down.
"Okay, explain."
Reno states his whole story, about how Bakugo and him were childhood friends, and then he got kidnapped and got abilities. By the time he finished, Reno was teary eyed and so was Bakugo and Deku.
"Jesus..." Bakugo stands up and tries to straighten himself out. "I am..so sorry. But..that still doesn't explain how you're here."
Reno takes a deep breath, looking at them. "Okay, so one of my abilities is that I can adjust timelines to how I see fit, now stay with me here cause this is a doozy. When I escaped for the very first time at the age of 14, I created a clone of myself, due to a vision I had while escaping. I made him the same age as me, and he would be created whenever I got kindapped. I was supposed to die at the age of 14 due to me not escaping the next go around, and everytime I died, the timeline would restart. Izuku would basically spawn whenever I went missing."
"I am 20 years old, so that means.." "Your Izuku must've done something to affect the entire thing." Izuku catches on, Reno nodding. "Yes! The timeline was supposed to restart, but since it didn't, now everything is a mess."
"I still don't get it. You said timelines, timelines don't connect universes." Bakugo states, and Reno nods once more.
"See, I'm getting to that. One thing I didn't explain to Inko..my mom..is that the whole timeline doesn't restart, it's just us. We restart and basically transfer to another universe, starting the cycle over. It wouldn't be fair to restart a perfectly good timeline completely. And now that Izuku has done something to affect the whole thing...." Reno starts, and Bakugo's eyes widen in shock.
"Oh my shit. It fucked up the other timelines you guys were previously in." Izuku whispered, and Reno nodded quickly. "Yes! That means it affects the inventions of some things, the prevention of some things..."
"Such as?" Bakugo questioned, and Reno sighed. "Whenever I reset, this organization called the LOV also goes with it. But since I didn't die, they continued testing. And...they found out what I had been doing, and they extracted and used my power to see if there were other universes."
"Wait, the LOV?" Izuku looked at Reno and then at Bakugo. "Holy shit, that wildfire last night was a diversion??" Bakugo ran a hand through his hair, clearly stressed.
"What do you mean?" Reno questioned, and Izuku looked back at Reno.
"There was a wildfire last night, set like a third of our national forest on fire. We know it was the LOV because of it's blue fire, which is Dabi's signature. It's gonna take us days, hell weeks to put it out because of how strong it is, half of our heroes and police forces are out handling it." Bakugo explained. Reno's eyes suddenly squeezed shut as he gasped, slightly spasming in the chair.
"RENO???" Izuku jumped into action, untying him and laying him flat on the floor. Bakugo left the room quickly, Momo coming in and immediately making a pillow. She lays it underneath Reno's head as the spasms stop, and it goes still.

(2 days before The Gathering.)
Bakugo rubs Izuku's back, Izuku sobbing into his hands as he lays in his chest. Izuku had been sobbing for the past 5 minutes, trying to figure out who else was in that store.
"I-I don't know!! How could I have been so stupid! So idiotic, so..so.." Izuku stumbles over his words and whines, slightly massaging his forehead.
"So nothing Izuku, you were a little kid, you can't blame yourself for being curious." Bakugo tries to comfort him, and Izuku just shakes his head and sighs. "No use. I'll think some more later. Let's try and piece together what could've-" They were both interrupted by a knock at the door, along with whispering.
Izuku and Bakugo share a look before they both jump up and slowly head towards the door, Bakugo picking up a bat that was hidden by some plants.
Izuku swings the door open and Mina and the boys stood there, Kirishima and Denki jumping on Bakugo to hug him. "BAKUBROO!!!!"
Bakugo sighed and put down the bat, shaking his head and pinching the bridge of his nose. "What are you idiots doing here??"
"We got worried!! Todoroki fessed up to the whole thing Izuku, he's in police custody right now! You guys are safe, no need to hide!" Mina smiles, and Izuku nervously laughs.
"That's great, we're still in deep shit MIna."
