I was wide awake that night. A thousand thoughts crossed my mind and kept me up. But after a few hours of thinking and checking my socials, I became too tired to even think anymore. So I fell asleep three hours after I said goodnight to Lewis. And woke up only six hours later from my alarm.

I groaned as I tried to snooze my alarm, knowing I'll regret doing that since I got a busy day ahead. I laid back down on bed and closed my eyes. But after only ten minutes my alarm went off again and I jumped up from frustration. I got my phone and stopped my alarm. My head was pounding as I stood up, walking towards the bathroom. I don't remember everything from last night. But I do remember meeting some of the drivers and Isa, Carlos's girlfriend. We also played some games, but after truth or dare I couldn't remember much. Just that Lewis eventually told everyone that we would go back to our rooms and then we said goodbye to each other.

The cold water that I splashed on my face didn't help at all. I didn't feel more awake and would literally fall back on the bed any minute and forget that I have an event if it wasn't for Pete to knock on my door. I opened the door a bit and peeked through the gap. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing, ma'am. I just wanted to know if you were ready to go in ten minutes," Pete said. My eyes widened in shock.

"Ten minutes?" And with that I rushed back to my bedroom and changed as fast as I can. I put on some make-up and put my hair in a low bun.

"Hey, Pete!" I yelled from my little living area and the door opened a bit, revealing Pete in his suit, ready to go. "Have you seen my shoes? I can't find them anywhere!" I took another round through my bedroom to search for them, but when I got back to the living area I saw Pete grinning. "I'm sorry, your highness, but it's quite funny how you don't remember where you left your shoes." He chuckled and went back to the hallway. I wanted to follow him, but he came back inside, with my shoes in his hands. "Lewis left them there. You forgot them when you went back to your room." He placed the shoes in front of me.

I scanned through my memories, trying to remember why I left my shoes there. Probably because my feet were hurting. "Thank, Pete. You're a hero!" I patted his arm and sat down to put my shoes on. The white sneakers were a perfect combination for my outfit today. The white blouse and beige pants were simple, but casual enough.

"I'm ready, should we go?" I stood up and walked past Pete. He followed me close behind and we went to the elevator. This time I wouldn't go with Lewis, since he had to be at the track at nine o' clock. And since my alarm was set at 9 AM, it wasn't really an option to even go with him since he would be long gone by then. So now I was alone with Pete for an hour before going to the track. We went to the car and discussed over where we would eat some breakfast. Since Pete was my personal guard, he didn't really have time for himself. It made me feel guilty and I decided that we were going to do something fun. So now we were on our way to the closest restaurant in the area for some breakfast.

"So Pete, do you like Formula One?" I asked as we neared the restaurant that I picked out earlier.
He nodded at my question. "I always watch the races with my friends, but when I'm at work I watch them in the evening when my duty is over."

I slowly nodded my head. "Well, now you can watch it live. Must be a cool experience, huh?"

"It sure is, your highness." He smiled at me and parked the car. "We're here. Should I check if there's a back entrance so you're not being watched?"

I thought about his question and shook my head. "Let's just go in. I'm sure no one would really notice much, just do as if you're my friend. And don't use my title, than they wouldn't notice." The last thing was a bit much to ask since it was in protocols to always address a royal with it's title. But we also didn't want any photos of us. So Pete nodded and kept silent.
