I dropped Sofia off at the house, and let both my siblings know I would be out for the night. They both mumbled an "Ok" from the couch, not paying any attention to me. I left a number for pizza out and started getting ready.

I gathered all the makeup products I normally use, and threw them in my bag, along with the red dress I was planning on wearing.

I thought about straightening my hair for tonight, but that would take way too long. I grabbed my red heels and threw them in the bag too. I yelled a quick "Bye" at Mateo and Sofia, before hurring down the stairs and jumping into my car.

Oh god, I hope I'm not late. I hated being late, I thought to myself as turned on some music. This was pretty much Mel and I's first date. I mean, of course, she had asked me to lunch, and things like that, but now it was different. We were together- or kind of together. Maybe I'd have to ask her about our relationship status. If we even have one.

I took a deep breath and grabbed my bag out of the backseat.

I knocked on her door and waited a few seconds until it swung open. My jaw practically dropped to the ground, when I realized what Mel had on- or what she didn't have on.

She stood in front of me, wearing dark colored silk robe that hung loosely around her body, due to her not tying it in the appropriate place.

"You coming in?" She asked me, before pulling me inside, and shutting the door behind me.

"Oh, um sorry, I was-"

"Shhhh. I'm glad you're here." She grabbed the sides of my face and pulled me in. Her lips felt incredibly soft and plump against mines as she groaned softly into my mouth, kissing me hard.

My bag fell to the floor as my hands came up to meet her hips. She pushed me softly against the door. I moaned quietly, feeling the sensation of the cool wood against my skin.

Our kiss began to slow, then came to a complete stop, sadly.

"Don't look at me like that. We gotta get ready, or we'll be late." She reminded me.

"We can be a little late." I smirked up at her.

"Nina, you hate being late."

"Ugh." I rolled my eyes. "How do you even know that." She laughed at me as she picked up my bad and dragged me into her room.

It took about an hour for us to both get ready. Mel had re-curled her hair, while I sat doing my makeup, and we both put on our dresses at the same time. Melissa stepped out of the bathroom wearing a black, tight-fitting bodycon dress with sleeves. Her heels clacked on the ground as she same over and stood right in front of me. My hands immediately met her waist.

"Wow, Mel, you look-" I could barely finish my sentence as I looked her up and down.

"Thank you." You look beautiful too." Her hand came up and tenderly stroked my cheek. "Well, you ready?" She asked me, stepping away from me, and collecting her purse.

"Yeah, all good to go." I smiled, standing up.

"Then let's go." We both left out of her house and got inside her car.

"Hey, um, are you driving us back, or would you like me to do it?" I asked her.

"I was going to drive us, unless that's a problem?"

"No, no, I just wanted to know how much wine I was allowed to have." I joked.
