This morning I woke up and saw that troy was there. I jumped a little bit. But that was before I asked him what he was going in the room with me. He told me he wanted to make sure that I didn't get anymore nightmares. I thought it was sweet but I know what he's really in the room for and I'm not going to tell him.
"Troy you might as well go I'm not going to tell you."
"Why not?"
"Because it's my choice on whether or not I tell you about it! I don't want to so you need to respect that! Now I'm going to go get dressed then leave for school. Is that okay with you or do you need to know the details about that I'm going to wear?"
"Look I'm concerned about you and if it has to do with your safety I need to know."
I didn't say another word to him I just grabbed my clothes and walked to the bathroom to go get dressed.
When I was done I walked out and grabbed my backpack.
"Good morning Chloe did you sleep well?"
"Yes sir."
"Do you want me to give you a ride to school?"
"No thank you."
I walked out the door and started my walk to school. When I got there I went straight to Chad.
"Hey Chad, can we talk?"
He nodded his head and we walked somewhere private.
"So what's up?"
"Troy keeps wanting to know about what happened the night you found me."
"Did you tell him to drop the subject?"
"Yeah and he won't let it go. I don't know what to do Chad."
"You're going to go to Ms.Darbous, and tell her that your back. And I'm going to knock some sense into that boyfriend of yours."
"Don't kill him please."
"He made you cry."
"We're not doing that Chad."
I shook my head and walked to where my godmother would be at.
"Need some help?"
"Chloe you're back."
"Got in late last night. But Troy keeps wanting to know about what happened that night Chad found me. I just can't believe that what my parents did landed me in the hospital."
