Chloe's POV
After episode that I had in the gym Troy has been making sure that I eat something. He said that I scared the whole team that day I passed out. He even said the he sprinted over to me and caught me before my head could hit the floor.
When I asked him what happened he said that I was working on the cheers and just fainted. He told me that he called for his dad. Troy was telling me that his dad let him stay with me in the locker rooms until I woke up. Troy said that I was put for almost an hour.
I asked if there was anything else that happened while I was unconscious. He said that Ms.D my godmother came in looking for me. He said that she was worried about me because I wasn't answering my phone. Troy said what had happened and she was asking a lot of questions.
But when I did wake up I did eat something. I think it was the fact that I hadn't eaten breakfast that day. On top of that I skipped lunch. So that didn't really help the situation. Troy thought that I had eaten breakfast before we left. He never asked if I did he just assumed that I did.
If he has asked like he usually does then he would have taken me down to the cafeteria to get something to eat. I know that what happened was my fault but Troy is too busy blaming himself for that. I keep telling him that it's not his fault and that it was mine because I should have eaten something that day.
"Chloe, did you eat breakfast this morning?"
"No I just grabbed an apple."
"Come on you need to eat. I don't want a repeat of what happened on Monday. Plus you have to get those injections. And I read what the side effects of what could happen if you don't eat. Those side effects scared me I need you to eat something."
"Okay."
He put an arm around my shoulders and we walked down to the cafeteria. He made sure that I got more than just an apple. He even paid for it. I told him that he didn't have to but he said that he wanted to. I just smiled at him and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
Troy can pretty silly when he wants to be. Be fed me my cereal while we where in the cafeteria. After I was done with my breakfast we walked over to the Liberty to get some homework done.
After we got there we looked for an empty table to put out stuff at. After we found one we went down isles of books trying to find what we were looking for. I found a book to read after I got the homework done. That was when I ran into Chad. He didn't look very happy to see us.
"What's up Chadwick? Why the face?"
"Why didn't you tell me that you and Troy auditioned for the musical?"
"I didn't know that you being my friend meant that I have to tell you everything that I do. But why do you care if we do that anyway?"
"I don't I'm just surprised is all. I didn't think that singing was something that you would be into Chloe."
"I've always liked singing. Just never told you."
"Why? I mean the next thing you know you'll be in tights singing twinkle town."
"No one said anything about tights Chadwick."
"Not yet but just you wait."
"I don't see what the big deal is I've been helping out in these shows for a long time. Besides it's always something to keep me busy."
"You I get Chloe, bit how did you get Troy to do that with you?"
"I gave him the face he can never say no to."
"Was it that face that you gave me one time?"
"Yes."
The librarian came around and told us to be quiet but Chad blamed it on Troy. Chad then continued to rant on about the musical and why we shouldn't do it. I couldn't stand Chad anymore I told him that me and Troy were going to do the call backs whether he liked it or not.
"Chadwick, I thought you were our friend. You should be supporting is not tearing us down for it. Maybe I was wrong, maybe you're not my friend after all. Come on Troy we got homework to do."
I grabbed Troy's hand and we walked away. Chad was calling after us but I just ignored him. I checked out the book that I found earlier and grabbed my stuff. Troy followed suit and we took our stuff out to the roof top.
I sat with my back against Troy's and he has his arms wrapped around me. I started to read my book to him while he played with my hair. Not going to lie it was actually putting me to sleep.
We stayed in the roof until it was time for basketball practice. When we got to the gym the whole team was in the locker room. It looked like they were waiting for us.
I grabbed my cheer uniform and Troy grabbed his basketball uniform. We walked over to the bathrooms and got changed there. When we walked out the others tried to talk to us but we just ignored them.
We just did what we normally do and minded our own business. If I had to guess I'd say that Chad told the others about what happened in the library. I'm also assuming that the withers agree with him.
When practice was over Troy took me to get my injections from his dad. They aren't fun but are mandatory that I get them. After all was said and done me and Troy went back to the roof. We needed to get away from everyone for a while. So I pulled out my book and started to read it to Troy.
After a while it was starting to get late and we both knew that we needed to go home. We walked home since we missed the bus. When we walked in the door we got some food and then went to Troy's room when we were done.
